georgia motor trucks on highway 36 east near I-75 must meet standards before zoning is allowed that would let it expand its operations.
one citizen said the business is an eyesore and casts a poor light on the county as a whole in that it is the first commercial venture visitors see when entering lamar from the interstate.

Good. That place was a mess with spilled motor oil, used batteries, old tires, scrap vehicles, and many other things that have no place just laying around.
Worse yet it backs right up to residential property.
This is another sad case of slack enforcement and poor management by the county. The business was never supposed to have trucks in the first place but in typical slack county management style the commissioners and zoning people let it slide from small vehicles only to a big truck junk yard and old parts dump.
