mccain rips obama over al-qaida in iraq...

from associated press/ajc.com

Republican presidential hopeful John McCain mocked Democrat Barack Obama on Wednesday for saying he would take action as president "if al-Qaida is forming a base in Iraq."

"When you examine that statement, it's pretty remarkable," McCain told a crowd in Tyler, Texas.

"I have some news. Al-Qaida is in Iraq. It's called 'al-Qaida in Iraq,'" McCain said, drawing laughter at Obama's expense.

Obama quickly answered back, telling a rally at Ohio State University in Columbus, "I do know that al-Qaida is in Iraq."

"So I have some news for John McCain," he added, saying there was no al-Qaida presence in Iraq until President Bush invaded the country.

Noting that McCain likes to tell audiences that he'd follow Osama bin Laden to the "gates of hell" to catch him, Obama taunted: "All he (McCain) has done is to follow George Bush into a misguided war in Iraq."

obamas comments indicate a lack of guts to complete an unfinished job. letting bin-laden go is the same as helping him commit the crime. Osama + Obamma = More Terrorism in the Future.

the direct use of force is such a poor solution to any problem, it is generally employed by small children and large nations (george w.)

Let's think about this factually.

The 911 terrorists came from Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan. None came from Iraq.

Iraq had no terrorists until we removed Sadam. Sadam would just kill anyone who threatened him.

When we pull out, no matter when that is, the Iraqis will all just start killing each other. They've fought tribe to tribe since before Christ, and will fight that way again the moment they have a chance until another dictator with an iron hand or another country like Iran takes over.

The fellow the USA spent millions training and arming to fight the Russians who spent $200K destroying the Twin Towers is over near Pakistan, and we are looking for him in Iraq. We are spending trillions of dollars to fight him in a country where he isn't now and has never been.

Anyone who wants can just walk across the border and bring anything they want into our country, but the war in Iraq somehow is making us safe.

Any person who wants to change all this and look for and bomb Binladen in the country where he actually is lacks guts, but the people who caused the mess we are in are wonderful.

One has to wonder how high the IQ is of the average American voter.

Tell me something FACTUAL that Bush did right, or that the Republicans or Clintons did right.

Oh I know, Bush likes God.

Killing innocent children is only a sin before the baby is born, or if it is not our president behind it all.

saying thou shall not kill, except for a long list of exceptions is like saying thou shall not covet your neighbors wife ,,,unless she is really hot...

Tell us something factual that Bush did right. Tell us something he left better after he was involved than before.

bush put a dent in terrorism. thats something those lame ass liberals lack the balls to do. if we knew who you were we could open a can of bush for you and give you a demo.

blind faith in bad immoral leaders is not patriotism.......all the war propaganda, all the screaming and lies and hatred comes from people who are not fighting this dreadful worthless hundred year war

I have not talked with a gulf war veteran that has anything bad to say about the war. They were all proud to serve and willing to serve again. So it must be the armchair coward civilian soldiers spiting stinky out their mouths. Until you know the facts you should stuff Buttwipe paper in your mouth and try to clear up that a-hole on top of your sholders.

The military recruits young people because they are easier to brainwash. Not all soldiers that went over there thought the war was a good idea. Maybe you should expand your horizons.

8:30 you made the assumption that I can only talk with your brainwashed military folks. As a high ranking military professional, I've talked with many of all ranks. Are you qualified to make your statements?

1. What branch of service did you serve in?
2. How long did you serve?
3. Ever go to war?
4. What do you base your assumption on?

i went to nam. so did most of my poor friends. many got killed.
none of us thought nam was a good or justified war. none of those that remain thing iraq is a good war or justified war. this war is all about that lying draft evader chicken rich boy bush who never should have been commander in chief after avoiding nam making a bad decision.

OK 7:39AM, you have the answers, why didn't you step up to the plate and run?

Anonymous said...

i did too 7:36. It is a perfect example of a war managed by politicians and not the military. At the time democrats.
