"Less boom, less bust." I think it is most appropriate to consider this factor when looking at the alleged profitability of United. I would say that United is profitable across the board. I would however say it is profitable in regard to its size and its per capita numbers. With only 15 banks it has naturally offered less personal loans, mortgages, and miscellaneous investments as opposed to larger, regional banks such as SunTrust. I think it is right to not get too excited about the future of United. The economy is beginning to sink in areas not seen in the last 15 years. And if you look at the number of homes for sale in Barnesville, the amount of people "getting out," as well as the low number of people moving in, clients may begin to dwindle, fall behind on payments, and even go into foreclosure.
and if they dont start making loans to the customers they have it could hurt havent been able to deal with anyone there since joe bostwick left he knew what it was like to put your customer first
I changed and transfered my company's 401Ks to IRAs to United Bank about 18 months ago. It turned out to be one of the smartest financial moves I ever made. It's great to have a "local" financial institution with a 5 star rating. In today's time it helps you sleep better at night. When you walk into the bank they know you by name. They really work with you to help meet your financial goals... and when they do, you know really have something there.
I just received a loan from there Friday from a very competent member of the United Bank Team! Very nice and willing to help. My only beef is the charges on everything that you do there, but I understand that is anywhere!

I heard the new U.B logo will be U.B. inside a big D. Do I need to say what the D stands for.
Dane visited the Virgin Islands and when he left they renamed it The Islands.
American flags get tatoos of Dane.
Danes calendar goes straight from March 31st to April 2nd, cause nobody fools Dane.
Dane made the first Oak tree by planting one of his arm hairs.
Dane is asexual. He reproduces much like a salmon, in that he lays eggs and then comed back months later to fertilize them himself.
