Still no mention of Gordon Police Department at the event. Gordon should have been reconized just as all the other public safety agencies were reconized by Sharon Greer and Britton Cauthen. Gordon not only does campus police work they assist the city when needed. Also next time a Sheriffs deputy locks their keys in a patrol car maybe they should call a locksmith instead of Gordon,Just so yo know all Gordon Officers are P.O.S.T certified officers that can work anywhere in the state, so I would not look down on those guys and gals if I were you. They are leniant yes,but they will issue you a UTC if you step out of line. My point is Gordon Police are an inportant part of barnsville also.

I am sick of people saying Dane is'nt a fireman,he is, and always will be the best damn fireman Lamar Co. has ever had. He does drive the firetruck,ladder truck....in fact he knows how to operate every single piece of equipment the fire dept. owns.

At least the other supposed news guys in town knows that for anyone to know what in the world they are reporting about in their news they have to come to Walter's site to spread the word. Hey Williams or whatever your name is, just buy an ad in the Herald Gazette next week and publish your story there. Other than that, it is, as the big media says, a non-story.
Well if you think GPD is security you better check there UTC's or better yet if you think they are security try and get a job there and see if your security background gets you a job.
Sharon and Britton done a great job putting Safety Day together. But without the help of all the volunteers it wouldn't have been successful. I would like to thank all the volunteers that helped out on Safety Day!
I would like to ask everyone to pray for Britton and his family. This cancer Britton is fighting has been tough for the whole family.
