you know lsu would much rather play tennessee in the sec title game than georgia. the dawgs are one of the hottest teams in the nation at present.

The stadium looked dark. I personnally didn't like it.
UGA has some of the sharpest uniforms in college football (red shirts and silver pants). Why mess with that?
As for Richt, when was he ever on the hot seat? Having a few unrealistic fans call for his head after a loss or two does not constitute being on the hotseat?
I guess the ole' genius richt will have the bulldogs play naked next!
While of corase the red is the traditional classic bulldog color. The black added a nice punch to things! I don't think I would like it every Saturday, but every once in a while would be OK. Personally If they played every week with that vigor and that appetite to win, they could be pink for all I care! I don't think CMR has every really been on the hot seat. He's a good coach and UGA could do much worse ... Gailey, Spurrier, Weiss...etc.

As far as modern college football is concerned, the black-out was the 2nd best motivational technique used by a head coach. It is second only to a scripted excessive celebration after a first touchdown. After the Tenn loss Scoop asked the question about 'Richt and hot seat' if they lost a third. Here was my reply 5 weeks ago, and I stand by it today; you better get down on your knees tonight and pray Coach Richt doesn't decide to leave and go somewhere else.
Gailey tried to fire up his team against VT by putting the opposing QB in one their own jersey.....it didnt work out! Maybe Tech needs to play naked!
