The once controversial College Manor subdivision in Barnesville has changed hands after the developer reportedly defaulted on a multimillion dollar loan.
The 39-lot subdivision off College Drive remains empty although infrastructure has been installed.
In mid-July, College Manor Development, LLC sold the subdivision to Cedar Creek Farms for $1,245,000. The principal owner of Cedar Creek is developer Michael Jackson.
College Manor offers one-third acre lots where homes are highly restricted for about $55,000 apiece.
