I hope our prosecuter handles this better and more fair to everyone including the community than other cases. I expect he will since the accused is not a GOB member this time.

I hate that this happened in our community. Teach your teenager, whether male or female, that "NO" means no, no matter what! It is a crime and a shame that our youth can't feel and be safe in their own neighborhoods. What can we do? As parents? As adults? As neighbors? As friends? Tell me!!!!

I am so sorry to say that I am not surprised at this news at all. I regularly monitor MYSPACE.COM since some of my neices/nephews have accounts and I see some really bad things. For one, our teens and pre-teens in Barnesville are bragging about being lesbians and bi-sexual. Their pictures are very sexually suggestive and often have two girls in compromising positions. Parents, get yourself a 'dummy' account and send a friend request to your kids. See what they're doing. It's not a violation of their privacy. If they can have hundreds of friends on their spaces, why can't you be one of them??
