To think that some Tech grads actually put their children thru school. That really is boo hoo isn't it? :o) Once again only the facts that you want to know or hear. Enough is enough there are far worse things going on in this world. You atleast have a place to call home, food to eat, clothes to wear, a education that will get you far in life and yes, even a family. That's alot more than some people have. Think about that please!

Way to go - I believe you missed the point – I think what they were trying to say is boo hoo –some people think they are above everyone else so they go WHINE and CRY to try and take the spot light off of them. They don’t mind putting heat on others but – they can’t stand the heat.
To think that some Tech grads paid for their children’s expenses during the course of their education while their children worked hard and maintained a high enough GPA to maintain the HOPE scholarship. Food, clothing, shelter – I learned in school these were some of the necessities to live. While I am extremely thankful for each of these and considered blessed – I do not give any credit to Tech grads for these things. This is just what is said to sooth their conscience. The conscience of such people has apparently been seared. Why don’t you just ask them WHO all they are providing a home, food, and clothes for and maybe you’ll find it more than just their own X and Y chromosomes. (And I don’t mean these people have adopted a family in Africa)
I call love -being raised in a household you can be PROUD of! One where you can TRUST your parents and DEPEND on them to do the right thing (or at least try to do the right thing) no matter what. One where the parent tells their children "I LOVE YOU and would never do anything to INTENTIONALLY hurt you". One where the parent teaches you to do what is RIGHT – regardless of who is with you. (Ever heard of Go against the Flow?) (Or how about this one - - - F L E E!!!!!) One where you learn the most important thing is TRUTH. One where you learn – be sure you’re RIGHT – then go ahead. One where you learn it’s ok to say “I’m WRONG” “I’ve REALLY MESSED UP” and “I’m SORRY”. One where the parent leads by EXAMPLE. One where you learn that you can be CONSIDERED GUILTY BY ASSOCIATION even if you are INNOCENT so be careful who you hang out with and how situations look. One where you BELIEVE everything your parents tell you – you have 120% TRUST in them!!! One where you not only TALK the TALK but WALK the WALK!!! One where you learn – TALK is cheap – be careful!!! One where you learn whatever you feed your eyes and brain will EVENTUALLY come out and becomes part of the HEART. One where you learn a lot about a person by watching how they “WALK” verses listening to their “TALK”. One where “YOUR WORD” – IS – something!!!!!!! And I guess the one thing we can agree on is there are worse things in the world - but I’m not going to let you use that to sugar coat what is wrong. WRONG – is just that – WRONG.
Once again only the facts you want to know or hear (or for some of you the facts you don’t want told).

Do you feel better now? This kinda reminds me of a dog chasing its tail. So I will stop this insanity now. But before I do please do slow down some of us never graduated from Tech or Georgia. We are just regular working folks who get on here to read post and comment from time to time. If we just happen to read between the lines and understand what some people are talking about then so be it.

I think that it is pitiful that some Tech fans taught teens in Sunday School and now they have totally gone against everything that they taught. What a joke. This world needs role models--what happens when the role models go astray?
Maybe the blog was deleted to try to save you from yourself. Too bad a high GPA does not always translate into common sense or life lessons--talk about dumb in that area...
Is common sense deceiving your family and leaving your family? Is that what you always taught the teenagers in Sunday School? I must of missed that Sunday...
Common sense is dealing with your personal issues directly and not by hijacking a sports related blog because you have some kind of ax to grind. And just so you know, I have never taught teens in Sunday School.
