truck-train crash snarled downtown traffic...
this morning but no injuries were reported.
guess that is the truck's fault every time, right?
Yes, the train is obviously bigger, but, in addition to this, another consideration might be (for those that may lack understanding) trains do not have the ability to swerve around your stupidity, when it comes down to recognizing red flashing warning lights and guard arms that block the lane!
If nothing else, Stop, Look, Listen! I would hate to think of their reaction if they caught on fire! Run in front of a fan?

Hmmm, three locomotives, each weighing 180-200 tons, for a total of 600 tons.
There is a reason the train has the right of way every time.
So unless you have a method of stopping that much weight any quicker, yes, it is the truck's fault every time.
Truck drivers have to understand that they have a "Big Rig" but the Train is a "Bigger Rig".
I knew a train engineer a number of years ago & he would have hit more vehicles if it weren't for all the paperwork he had to fill out.
