fire struck a shop on walton road...
not a residence.
shop near the homes of two brothers who owned it is a total loss.
there were no injuries and the county fire department radio system is back up and functional at this time.

The county radio system is a mess...not from money.... but from poor planning.
The installations are poor and need cleaned up, and part of the problem is the large commercial tower near the county tower never should have been allowed there. NEVER.
Bad engineering idea that puts our first responders at risk.
It would be interesting to learn why someone allowed that tall tower to be built so close to the smaller county tower.
