grand jury indicts local businessman...
arthur kip pelt is charged with possessing a bulldozer owned by the henry county commission.
No, that's where Rudy got his stash from. Kip Pelt, Pam Brown, and other whites in HIGH places and if Rudy refuses to tell on them that's his own stupidity. Watch out prominent White people.
I didnt realize Kip and Pam were "prominent." I think Rudy has enough stupidy to go around for everybody........Lets see, I wonder in Kip and Pam will start crying and say the only reason they were arrested was because they are WHITE.
Kip Pelt is one of the hardest working men that I know. Pam Brown has been a very hard worker in many projects hosted by Lamar County. Lets not convict these ppl until we have all the facts. Do these two seem lazy, and wanting something for nothing?? I don't think so.
You people with the negative comments must owe Lamar Tire money. Kip you hold your head up. People that really know you will stand behind you. The truth will prevail.

Perhaps some legal eagle can explain the difference between a businessman possessing a stolen bulldozer belonging to Henry County and the City of Barnesville possessing stolen real property and SPLOST funds belonging to Lamar County.
First of all, if it makes any difference, I am white. It amazes me how people are ready to send Rudy to prison without a trial, but we should take pity of the Pelts. Do we have dual standards here? The Pelts are pillars of the community, but Vaughn is trash. Right? Wrong!!!. I personally hope Rudy walks and I believe he will.
Looks like the owner of Lamar Tire needs to clean up its' act in more ways than one. In reality, he is innocent until found guilty; however, the clutter in front of and surrounding his business is a disgrace to the community. Why hasn't the city required him to clean up his act there?
Sometimes a person isn't what they seem to be. Sometimes that window opens and truth comes out. Lets hope it does in court and he pays for the wrong doings if he is guilty. I say if he wasn't then there would be no reason for indictment. Things come back to those that do wrong to others.

OK people, Kip is charged with possesion of stolen property, NOT stealing!!! When you buy heavy equipment, most of the time it is at an auction where the auction is supposed to be responsible for the authincity of the equipment. Also, construction equipment is not like autos where the titles are kept up with. I'm quite sure there is no one here who wouldn't be guilty of "possesion" on a smaller scale. Ever bought anything from a pawn shop?

There are two types of people...the saved and the unsaved. The caught and the uncaught. I'll guarantee you that everyone of us on this blog, uncluded me, have committed crimes in our lifetime that could have resulted in jail time. We just were not caught.
Rudy Vaughn was the ring leader so stop trying to say he is anything but. This probably where kip got the equipment. Rudy Vaughn is quilty and he deserves to get time along with all the other crooks and gang leaders!

Alot of you people talk about Kip being a nice, honest man. There's alot of people in this world who are like that and commit crimes!! I know it's not like he killed someone but he purchased stolen property and that's against the law. He'll only get probation and a fine if he is convicted most likely. I think it's only fair that he is punished for this and not get off just because he is a nice person and people think he's honest.

I agree with 7:06! Kip works hard and never has anything bad to say about anyone, but is always the first to help someone in need.
