way to go pam brown!!! lamar county really needs more negative publicity right now. less than $500?? i would have loaned that to you. you too, kip pelt.
loosers!
I hope more indictments are to come on the stolen equiptment. I doubt he would rat out any of his friends though.
i moved to this area 3 years ago i had always heard how much dirty dealing was going on but all i can say is "just damn"
Remember, innocent until proven guilty.
why didn't anyone say "innocent until proven guilty" about rudy. instead it was the other way around. it is really bad for pam because she has probably stole from the ESF and used that money and toys for her own personal use. people like her is why the american public's charity giving has declinded.
is this the older lady that you would see sometimes outside at ingles collecting for the firefighters?if it is then im shocked, because i have watched her stand out there in the freezing cold all day and be just as nice as could be.
Ok, did she just "borrow" some CPR cards and give them to the participants in the CPR classes that she facilitated? Or, did she acutally steal money from the VFD to buy the cards and then divert them to her own personal use?
What kind of accounting system does the VFD have when they are on their "boot drives"? Is the honesty system the only system in place to account for the funds going into the boots?
aint but one kind of boot drive im interested in. thats the one being driven up Pam Brown's hindparts. good riddance!!!
1:41...The woman you are talking about is not Pam, but she is a very faithful volunteer who gives many hours to the fire dept. Her name is Mary.
5:57 Is that you Satan?
Shame..Shame..Shame ....look what you took away from all the poor lil children
There is much, much more to this story. The high sheriff took it easy on her.
There is alot more to this story than anyone is willing to admit. As to the accountability system for the LCFR, Pam Brown was it. She has manipulated her way to total control of the funds used by the LCFR, ESF, and the LC Firefighters Auxilary. It has been suspected for several years that she 'had her hands in the cookie jar', but but she was protected by Fire Chief Steve Andrews. And speaking of our illustrious Fire Chief, who holds him accountable for the use (misuse) of the county vehicle assigned to him. I understand that he is 'on call' but does that give him the right to drive a taxpayer owned vehicle, burning taxpayer funded fuel, everywhere he goes? I work for a government agency, am on call 24/7, and drive an agency owned vehicle but if I drove my unit to church 3 times a week, to the grocery store, out to eat, and on every other personal errand I would have been fired long ago. Someone needs to look deeply into our finest (fire department). Things are far from what they seem on the surface. I know, I tried to volunteer there several years ago but because I didn't fit into the 'Good Old Boy' system I was shunned. I finally had enough of the dirty politics and the ineptness of the 'Redneck Brigade' and resigned.
I am a proud member of the Lamar County Fire Dept and let me start off by saying everbody makes mistakes now lets get down to the point. How many of you are on call 24/7 like Steve Andrews making sure whatever fire is raging or helping the sick or dieing? Not many so for you to come on here posting your non fact comments are just plain stupid Chief Steve Andrews may drive is county owned vehicle to church or to the store but now lets use facts how many times is he in that truck and not ready to go to a call NEVER he responds to call during church or even while he is out with his familly so may be some of you need to go to church instead of trying to cause problems. as far as Mrs Pam Brown goes YES she did make a mistake but of many of us has gone through life not making a mistake exactly what i thought none of us and who are we to judge anybody thats up to the good lord. and im sorry but if you did not make in in the "good ole boy" Fire dept maybe it because you cast out you NON FACT opion OR may be it's because you started trouble then like now! come on lets grow up and stop acting like kids, and one more thing you can put the blame on any of the firefighters after all you cant cut a apple tree down for one rotton apple
If my house is on fire I want steve there as soon as possible. I think Its fine that he drives his county vehicle to church. I also have several friends on the fire department and I think they do a fine job.I would'nt want to stand in the road holding a boot for charity, but those guy's do it without ever complaining.
Hey Joey, chew that post up and try to say it again because what you posted didn't make any sense. I'm guessing you must have graduated from Lamar County schools judging from the incoherent babble.
Hey, anon 3:01 I graduated from Lamar County High School and I'm sick of people like you who think that LC graduates are illiterate. I'm an educated, taxpaying, working professional who would love to see the public's perception of LC's school system improve. That isn't likely to happen with continued comments like yours.
Your post isn't the picture of perfect grammar now is it? So, where did you go to school?
Hey anonymous 3:01 if you could not understand my posting may be it's because you don't have a education. Maybe if you have such hostility towards the Lamar County Fire Dept you should confront the person or people you have the problem with! BUT OH YEAH I ALMOST FORGOT your siting behind you keyboard casting out your NON FACT OPIONS AONYMOUSLY. SO stop looking to get under anybodys skin your just anouther trouble maker in my book
Steve Andrews is the best thing that has ever happened to the Lamar County fire Dept.
I am shocked and upset by this whole matter, it makes me sick
ANON 1:41
No that lady standing outside of Ingles in the freezing rain was not Pam. That lady's name is Mary and she is just as sweet as you believe!
And another thing my husband is a VFF and he works more than 40 hours a week (on his normal job), yet in the middle of the night, wiht only 3 hours sleep, if a person's house is caught up in flames and ALL their worldly possessions are being burned up--it is my husband along with many other lamar county women's husband that gets out of bed, dress out, and respond. All of you taking trash about the fire dept should try listening to scanners 24/7 and being on call 24/7 to help people you don't know (who will turn on you in an instant)! Not to mention my husband is also holding that boot, that makes it possible for MANY Lamar County children to receive Christmas presents, If one bad apple is in a barrel, we don't throw out the entire barrel--do we? It is sad what happened, and I do feel bad for Pam Brown(even though she is in the wrong) because she has done so much for the county and put forth alot of her personal time. And the deal with the Chief driving the county vechile, if your house was on fire do you really wish for him to have to drive home to get the truck and gear or would you rather he have them with him--If could mean the difference b/w sleeping in your own bed, in your own home, or having to sleep in clothes donated to you through the red cross and sleeping in your neighbor's spare bedroom!
