randolph (rudy) vaughn and his girlfriend and codefendant, peggy dorsett, listen to an attorney in lamar superior court this morning. vaughn, dorsett, lonnie hines and jerry lee vaughn were all arraigned.
judge tommy wilson took up the matter of vaughn's bond. he is free on a $1 million bond with $100,000 of that put up in cash. however, bond had never been set on the four RICO corruption charges against him. judge wilson left the bond as is but added 11 stipulations. one of those new restrictions will force vaughn to move.
wilson also set dates to hear motions. vaughn's trial will begin april 30.
vaughn arrived in court with an entourage of some 25 supporters.

Expect more of the same. If Milam can put a known child rapist back on the streets a couple of years back...he can do just about anything. I couldn't sleep at night.

"There is no evidence" thats strange seems like they have tons of evidence,i used to think this county had a chance at a future but as read more of the post on this bolg page i'v come to the conclusion,its hopeless just turn it over to the savages let'em have it and try to control the plague before it spreads to other counties
how can he get a fair trial in this county because 2 out every 3 people think is quilty before they hear any of the evidence.....with the press and county officers spreading tales about what he has done, why cant he talk to the people about what he hasnt done.....if we are gonna make him leave the area, then lets make the D.A. and sheriff leave

8:59. Your head is in the sand. It is as simple as that. He has blatantly stolen from and swindled people. No remorse, no regrets. I agree that he needs the Lord, but he needs to stop sinning and make restitution.
his chances of geeting off is much better in lamar county. they let everybody off. why would he want to move it. it will get all screwed up and the ball will be dropped and later on he can get it all back and sue the county for a lot more to boot.
he needs to be tried in an area where people dont have an opinion of his quilt.....they need to have an open mind.....you can look at all the blogs and tell that everyone already has him guilty

Enough is enough Sheriff. Mac's going to be in jail for most of his life anyway...why pile on. You did the right thing by jailing him for his crimes but this new arrest seems like a bit much. Let it end.
