roberts (shown with his wife johnnie), a career educator and former citizen of the year, died sunday. funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. saturday, march 3 at east mt. sinai baptist church. the family may be contacted at the roberts residence at 112 jenkins st. in barnesville.

Dr. E. P. Roberts was a consumate gentleman and the epitome of what it means to give back to one's community. His contributions to the education and religious establishment, civic organizations, and overall community are immeasurable. He truly had a life worth living!
