the barnesville city council meeting scheduled for 2.12.07 has been set for the following evening due to a scheduling conflict with state legislators.
the meeting will be held 2.13.07 at 6 p.m. at the municipal courtroom.

Easy brother. If you think you would be better qualified than the other counsil men and women, then run. But I'm sure your one of those people who would rather sit back and bitch, verses actually doing anything for your community.
I feel the day to day activity that is covered in a regular meeting should not be cancelled.
Especially for the given reason.
Nothing says a called meeting cannot take place for info from the legislative bodies that would supply information.
