I am concerned about the "others" who were in the sting operation. This is public knowledge. Why have their names "NOT" been mentioned? There have only been 3 names mentioned, with special emphasis placed on LCMS Teacher of the Year.Others were arrested as well. What's up with that?

Anon 8:25 That is a good point, what about the others.

As usual this will make law enforcement look like they are doing thier job, setting up a sting operation and getting the nickel and dime sellers off the street. But do wonder why the sting operation never identify who the street pushers are getting their drugs from? The reason why, if they did, it would lead to a trail across the other side of the tracks. Get my DRIFT!!!!!

Good Question 9:33, who is the supplier to these people? I think the people of Barnesville and Lamar County have the right to know. I also believe action should be taken against those suppliers.

If you think you know who they are then why not report it?

The people of Barnesville/Lamar Co. need to step up and turn some of these people in. Law enforcement can only be as good as its community support. In this town it is a wonder they accomplish as much as they do.

The nickel and dime sellers are usually caught with more money in thier pockets than some people make in a month. Im sure they dont have a real job and are probably collecting their wellfair checks. I would rather my tax dollars be paying for their stay in jail. Got to pay for them anyway!

Here’s a thought, some people are never going to quit smoking pot like some people are never going to stop wasting water. The unfortunate truth is that most of the pot comes from Mexico. It is simple logic that a large portion of the money goes back to Mexico. On the other hand “home grown” when sold, usually stays in the community. This is not a perfect WORLD and neither are WE, so until the laws are adjusted to fit the needs of all the people we are ALL in a pitiful situation. The only ones that win are the lawyers!

So, if they were selling “home grown” give them half the sentence, because with the Mexican pot also comes the meth, and that's a deal breaker... just a thought

Meth is a huge problem in Barnesville and everywhere else. There is a lot of people in this town is on it. I have never used it but I look around at all the people I went to school with and people I grew up with and they have completely ruined their lives. At least pot doesnt destroy your appearance and leave you with sores all over your face and body.

Its easy to pick these users out. Its funny how they dont think so but it completely destroyes their appearance. They look nasty!

Apparently spelling and grammar are huge problems in this town.

Here again is the big problem! Nickle, dime whatever, it's still illegial. We are always looking to fault others. Yes I am sure there are bigger buyers and sellers, but that continues not to change the fact, wrong is wrong is wrong is wrong, no matter how you look at it, it's still WRONG. If your not buying it then you will not be caught with it. If everyone read the complete police report with the LCMS teacher, they would have read other names and their questions answered, however, the difference is, when you accept a calling as she did to teach, not to mention, receiving the teacher of the year award and the perks to go along with it, the fact is that you are held to a higher accountability. Like it or not, it's facts. It's called choices and consequences!

Anon 8:57 you hit the nail on the head. A question of choices, many seem to miss.
