mccreary case finally reaches supreme court...
it is being docketed today.
it seems it will be very difficult to invaldiate the july 18 primary result and hold another primary before the november 7 general election as mccreary wants.

The way McCreay has bad mouthed the county and all the different bodies that govern the county. I dont get why he is doing this. I guess he wants the county for his own. Hmmmmmmmmmmm
I hope he gets his day to present the proof that he says he has about Lamar Co. flawed election process the people need to see the truth about the way things have been done in this place for many years even when the Mathews ran this town. it appears that nobody really wants the truth, or maybe they can't handle the truth!
who says we want to grow? the only ones i know of saying that are outsiders that have moved to this community to get out of and away from growth and all it's problems. like i have been saying you can leave anytime with your yankee thoughts and go back from where you came

There are a lot of tax payers in Barnesville/Lamar Co. that have made this their home by choice and have contributed to this community to make it a better place to live for the "Insiders" & the "Outsiders" alike. Barnesville could be a "Ghost Town" if it were not for the influx of "outsiders" that make this their "home of choice"-open businesses and support the community in every aspect and expect your support in return. THE POINT I'M TRYING TO MAKE IS THAT THE COUNTY IS PAST DUE FOR A "MAINTENANCE CHECK-UP"!!! The County Government is just like a big business and should be run in the same manner. I think the majority of the voters would agree with that so there shouod be no problem with what Mcreary is trying to do. If it's broke fix it! LAiken
with all this growth, remember what comes with it. you talk about the growth as if all the tax money is going to go for improvements. ask jones county, clayton county, and everybodys beloved henry county. growth= taxes= crime= loss of said taxes for law enforcement. industry yes what yall call growth no

Why doesnt McCreary go back to Henry County and lighten up on knocking Lamar County.
