Sounds like Henry needs to find a better lawyer...or he is going to be toast.

I think everyone knows exactly what was on him mind. Even if he is found innocent by the jury, the man is ruined. Who really cares what he and his laywer has to say. There is no excuse in this world for him going to that house. He is lucky the parents werent there waiting on him. Whatever happens, he deserves it all. He brought it on himself. Hopefully he will go to jail!

maybe in prison,he'll have to bunk with BIFF who looks at him with the same predator eyes he was looking at those girls with.

Timeout -- before we have the dude sleeping in a jail cell with BIFF, let's wait to get some more facts on the case. I know it looks guilty as sin but there are always two sides to a story.

Regardless of the outcome of the Abreu case, this incident showcases one of the major problems with Georgia's legal system, namely the right of public officials to sit in on grand jury cases involving their activities. Why should they be given privileges not available to other citizens? The Barnesville City Council and its members have used it more than once.

What do you mean? I thought all defendants went to their hearings.

not but one side to the story that he was at a house with 2 underage girls thinking their parents were not at home. I dont htink he had baby sitting on his mind. Gulty of breaking the law or not, he is a big pile of horse dung who deserves to be punished. Our society today seems to give more thought to the rights of the wrong doer than the effecton the ones who was done wrong. If this was your child, would you be thnking there were 2 sides, or would you be ready for him to meet Biff so he could understand how you feel knowing what he was planning to do while you were not at home with your child. That parent will be paranoid about protecting his child from now on as long as he is a parent that some sicko might have the same audacity as the local judge, and the daughter is gong to have to live with an over protective Dad and that could very well have an effect on their relationship. Lets dont even think about the little unsuspecting boyfriend that might pick her up for the prom!

I do have a little girl. I love her more than anything. This guy still deserves a fair trial. How old were the girls? 17 or 13?? I don't know but I know there is a huge difference between the two. Did the girls initiate the meeting that day? What were the text messages and exactly what was implied in the visits? Was it just alcohol he was deliverying? I don't know the answers to these questions but a jury will and I will live with their decision. When I was teenager finding someone to score us some alcohol was huge. I wasn't planning on extracurricular activity for the favor though. I am not defending what he did and I am sure he is paying a huge price. However, let's get all the facts before this dude is tried and hung in the court of public opinion.

I think the majority of the public has already made up their minds. It doesnt matter how old the KIDS are. He is an adult who should have had better judgement skills. I am half his age and would never be put in the position he is in now. He brought it on himself and thats that! I cant wait to hear his reasoning behind his actions. He may get off on some of the charges but in my eyes he is an old pervert!

If you remember at least one of them was not even old enough to drive, but regardless, 13 or 17, or even if they provoked, he is an old man, not to mention a judge that is supposed to be above reproach.

He should not have been text messaging the girls for any reason at all. When you were out trying to score some boos when you were a teen, would you have asked a Judge or some respectful adult?

Regardless of what else he mioght have been delivering, he is still red handed in the fact that he was there and should not have been. Regardless of the implication of the visits, he should not have been there with out their parents being there. The police made a statement saying that he was on tape verifying right when he got there right off the bat making sure ther parents were not at home. Again, he is a pile of crap based on what is already known fact, and deserves any punishment he gets. I'll be when your daughter gets to be 13 and then 17, you will still see her as your little girl that should not be having to worry about 50yr old men trying to visit while you are not there with beer and condoms. he should be held to a higher standard even if they invited him.

There is no justifying the fact that a 50 year old man was even conversing with minors on such an intimate and friendly level. This man is an old pervert and should be treated as such. Does anyone remember the case of Tyshon Byrd? I believe that Henry's action are similar to that of Mr. Byrd's. These actions are highly inappropriate, especially for someone in such a public position

Why has Buggy Days'. vendors become sub-standard? I bought something from a Korean woman from North Georgia who had quality merchandise. Others......pitiful!

Having quality vendors helps boost our economy. We need to build better and better Buggy Days...not settle for the bottom of the barrel!

The wheel on the old Buggy has become flat!!!!!!!!!Let's pump them up for 2007!
