dane said he stepped in the creek and the tip of his third leg got wet...but luckily, it wasn't deep enough to run over the top of his boots and get his socks wet

Did you run across Dorothy, Toto, and the Wizard? Or better yet, did the tornado drop a house on the wicked witch? Were the munchkins swept away by the flood?

Rain caused the grass to grow quicker and dad could not cut because it was raining. Few tree leaves on the ground nothing to complain about although the driveway is a muddy mess.
None. I was driving thru b'ville during the rain and as I look ahead I see a beautiful rainbow and you can guess where it ended, dane's house. The closer I got to his house the clearer the sky became....the sky was blue and birds were singing and then the storms started soon as I passed his house.
