mill street shooter has surrendered and confessed...
No what is stupid is the person who is making these ridiculous allegations on this blog about JB being after the grand jurors. That couldn't be farther from the truth. If those people are scared it's because their consciouses are bad because they let a crook walk and they know it.
Since the By-Pass has been renamed MLK, it's time to rename Mill St. and I think with all the activity on Mill St. lately, a good name would be OK Corral.
I think the jurors did what they felt like was right. You cant just hand someone because someone thinks they are guilty or says they or guilty. You have to look at the evidence. Evidently, there wasnt enough of that. It sounds like the money could have been easily misplaced...by several people.

It's a ludicrous allegation by the henchmen of JBs opponents who so desperately want to beat him that they will make up and/or do anything to get the naive people who read these blogs beleive that JB is a monster and he is not. He is a hard nosed law enforcer who expects an honest day's work from the people who work for him and if a person can't give him that they have to go. I don't see a thing wrong with that in the man. But obviously, some of the slackers who got by doing little to nothing working for LW and couldn't cut it under JB see fit to get on here and run the man in the ground when, truth be known, if people knew what they were doing, or NOT doing, when they were "stealing" tax payers money, they would be appalled and aghast.
I rode down Mill St. with Dane one Saturday night and a shot was fired at us in his car and Dane caught the bullet with his teeth. He spit the harmless bullet to the ground and just continued driving like nothing happened.....I said to myself this dude is something else.
i was in ACE the other day and saw JOE BUICE and he was buying a night light,so when i got up to the counter i asked the lady if Joe was buying that night light for himself and she said no,he was buying it for the dark,because even the dark was scared of JOE

how can one grand jury no bill as many people as they did this time.........no wonder crime is so high in lamar co.....the cops must be really flusterated......the criminals know that even if they are caught, they wont be tried.....i would think that in a small right wing republican county that the crimes would be overpunished.....not let go
On Sept. 2, 2007, Hunt says he was driving south on I-75 through central Georgia on the way to see his mother in his hometown of Dublin. Hunt was wearing his hair in braids and driving a friend's orange Dodge Charger, when two Lamar County sheriff's deputies pulled him over for speeding.
The police video shows the deputies and Hunt standing beside the interstate, arguing. The incident report states they became suspicious when they saw that Hunt had a licensed handgun lying on the console, and that he had bloodshot eyes, his hands trembled, and he and his passenger gave evasive answers when questioned.
But what really got their attention was the $5,581 Hunt had stuffed in his pockets, which he said was the weekend profits from his car-detailing business.
In the police video, one deputy says, "Look man, here's the deal. We're gon' take this money into our possession, OK?"
Hunt responds angrily: "Oh no, I'm not giving you authority for you to take that money into your possession."
The deputy, emphatically: "I'm taking the money," and he informs Hunt they'll take it back to the department to count it again.
"They just told me it looked like drug money, that was all," Hunt says. The deputies found no drugs or alcohol in the car; Hunt was not arrested for any offense, nor was he written up for a traffic violation. The U.S. attorney's office in Macon, Ga., has now initiated proceedings to keep Hunt's money based on probable cause that it is "proceeds traceable" to "a controlled substance." Among their strongest evidence:
The deputy smelled burned marijuana. The deputy observed "an untestable" amount of what appeared to be marijuana on the floorboard. Drug dogs detected drug residue on the currency when it was brought back to the station.
Hunt has not been charged with any crime as a result of the traffic stop. So the question arises: Why is the government trying to take his $5,581?
The federal prosecutor refused to comment because the case is pending. He has offered to return half of Hunt's money. But Hunt's attorney, David Crawford, says they want all of it back and that they're considering a civil rights lawsuit.
"It's an abuse of power, and we're not gonna let them hide behind their police powers and the legal system. We're gonna keep pursuing this until we get justice," says Crawford.
Jesus promises to heal our land when we "turn from our wicked ways". A 19 year old committing a brutal act is truly sad, not only for the victims, but for the entire community to have to come to the realization that our youth are indeed in trouble. Turning from our wicked ways does not just apply to the young man who acted out in such a hurtful manner, but it also touches on the deep hatred shown in the comments left by so many members of our community. It is in times like these that the community needs to come together in prayer instead of seperating merely by a railroad track. Yes, the margin of seperation is simply a railroad track. Spend as much time on love and less time on finger pointing and Jesus will do just as he promised. May all be blessed and in times of trouble remember the promise.
I just had to comment on this link about the Hunt case or the deputies on 75. First let me say I despise JB!! I don't care for LW. I truly don't see a candidate on the ballot worth my damn gas money to drive to vote BUT....I know the deputy in this clip personally and he was probably the most honest, fair, deputy Lamar Co has ever had. Did you people not have your volume up on this clip. He told him I will need to count your money and I will give it right back to you. What they are doing there is seeing how the money is put together. Is it large bills or is it ones, fives, tens and so forth. Come on people.....when you cash your check or whatever you do not have almost six grand in ones, fives, and tens!!!! That is Drug money and everyone knows it!! Even the suspect Hunt because he was being evasive. He told him to cooperate and he didn't. Read your law books of Georgia. They sell them all day at most book stores. You can't blame this one on any department or sheriff deputy!! Watch it again with volume and look at the way the money is set up in ones, fives, and tens!!!!
So if you know the law you should also know that there have to be proof not asumation. It doesn't matter how his money is divided or if he was being evasive, if no drugs were found you have to let him go and not still his money.
