Maybe they can also help pay for all those SPLOST signs that are springing up all over town and county. I did not vote a penny tax to pay for campaign signs.

Who are you refering to when you said THEY?

I see the point was too subtle for you.

SPLOST

Every penny must be accounted for and can only be used for the purpose it was voted for by the people. No where in the vote were SPLOST signs mentioned.

However, the state don't care what laws we allow local government to bend or break. It is our responsibility to hold local government in check with the aid of the sheriff's office and police department.

This means that local government will continue to do whatever they want to do when the people allow them to do it because they either don't care or were to stupid to realize what they were doing.

dogboy,
Why should the city of Barnesville pay for the Splost Signs?

Anonymous said...

Why not, we seem to be paying for everything else.

dogboy,
Don't forget that city residents pay just as much county taxes plus we pay city taxes. Yet half the people I see walking down our sidewalks and using our roads live in the county. Just be thankful you don't have to pay both like the city residents.

Move out of the city dogboy. That don't take an Einstine to figure out.

Correction: that would be anonymous at 8:26 PM and not dogboy. Sorry dogboy.
