6:54 is correct. Obama has had trouble from the beginning with one of the democrats core voting group (middle income whites.) Plus, by strong arming Hillary out of the way instead of letting the race run it's course he has alienated that group even further. He is waxed handily by McCain.
The Republicans, just like the Clintons, always think their lies and rumors will pull them through. With our world crashing down around us from the practices of the past 30 years many people have become motivated to stop the old system of hate and lies.

As for what he has accomplished, he came from poverty to running for president without a rich daddy or rich wife to help. That's in stark contrast to Bush, McCain, and Clinton.

To those who blame the rising cost of gas and food on the President please note the largest increases have come since your party took over the Senate and Congress. I know facts mean little or else you would never be supporting a candidate who has basically no experience. Look at his record while in the Illinois Senate. To appease both sides of an issue, he would vote one way then change his vote afterwards for the records. This is the truth. And as far as the arguement about being a successful business man, Abraham Lincoln failed at every business he started and went on to be one of the greatest presidents in US history.

Obama has managed to work every bleeding heart liberal into a damn feeding frenzy with two words, hope and change. If it's socialism you hope for, he's your man. That takes drive, planning, brains and management skills. He worked with displaced steel workers, so he has a good idea of what our government has done to the working class.
Most important to most people supporting Obama is he is NOT a firm seasoned part of the political system that has screwed the middle class of America.
Another thing I consider important is because he does not fit the traditional mold of the people who have screwed the working middle class for the past 30 years, he is not surrounded by the likes of Bill Clinton, Donald Rumsfeld, Mitch Daniels, Rod Paige, and worse of all Karl Rove.
We have to try something different because if we keep allowing the same people to steer American it will be the end of any hope for America to recover from the damage of the past 30 years, and especially the Bush administration.
The single most important thing we can do is get someone elected who tells the truth and picks good people. Telling the truth and picking good people rules out Clinton and McCain. If they can't surround themselves with good honest people in a campaign there is little hope they will pick a good cabinet or be direct and honest while in office.
Anyway, you better get used to the idea. Bush has ruined any chance for a Republican. The Republicans are toast, even if biggoted white male Republicans think otherwise.

Old School Dems aren't going to the polls for Obama and the new "Progressive" Dems are heavily outnumbered. If we could only get the message across that wealth is EARNED, jobs are given from the employer to the employee for an agreed wage, social security benefits aren't guaranteed and will never outperformed the investment market, welfare destroys community support after it has already destroyed the family, tax increases do nothing to a deficit without curbing spending and government health insurance does not provide you with the actual health care- these won't co-exist for long.

There you will find a true picture of how things are going in Iraq. The main stream media will not tell you all the good stuff. The Democrat nominee would most definitely select justices who make up law on the fly. The Constitution is a contract between the Federal government, the states and the people. Making up laws on the fly is like changing an already existing contract. That should never be done, because its not fair , unjust and just EVIL.
McCain most likely will put good justices on the bench like Roberts and Elito who read laws in light of what the Constitution has to say. For me this is a huge point for McCain.

I wish that we could get the Republican base to jump ship and vote for Barr. But we would have to do it in unison, in one giant but loud step - all at the same time.
My vote will be for Barr. I can't say that I'm exactly jumping ship because I never really was on board with any one party. All my votes have been for Republicans so far on the Fed level but mostly because of a lack of competition. I believe I'm a Libertarian at heart (these guys don't get my autopilot vote either), most Republicans are too from what I gather but they don't know it.
I consider my vote to be a true vote, not one cast for party survival or the blocking of some left wing socialist, but a vote for the best available candidate.
If Obama wins because of the support of Barr it will not be a failure of the Barr voters but a failure of the Republican party to nominate a worthy candidate.
McCain supports Global Warming which is nothing more than the biggest plan to redistribute wealth in the history of man. McCain will not secure the borders to the extent necessary to protect its citizens. McCain will not remove the IRS from the throats of its productive citizens or repeal the 16th Amendment that allows our government its share before the citizen ever receives his own share of his earnings. Don't worry about the Supreme Court under a Barr tenure, the Constitution itself would want a Libertarian to read it before any other party if it could speak. And judges would be considered accordingly. Vote for and speak out for what you truly believe in and you don't have to worry about "did I do or say the right thing?".

We have to try something different because if we keep allowing the same people to steer American it will be the end of any hope for America to recover from the damage of the past 30 years, and especially the Bush administration.
The single most important thing we can do is get someone elected who tells the truth and picks good people. Telling the truth and picking good people rules out Clinton and McCain. If they can't surround themselves with good honest people in a campaign there is little hope they will pick a good cabinet or be direct and honest while in office.

The Democrat nominee would most definitely select justices who make up law on the fly. The Constitution is a contract between the Federal government, the states and the people. Making up laws on the fly is like changing an already existing contract. That should never be done, because its not fair , unjust and just EVIL.
McCain most likely will put good justices on the bench like Roberts and Elito who read laws in light of what the Constitution has to say. For me this is a huge point for McCain.

I wish that we could get the Republican base to jump ship and vote for Barr. But we would have to do it in unison, in one giant but loud step - all at the same time.

I can't say that I'm exactly jumping ship because I never really was on board with any one party. All my votes have been for Republicans so far on the Fed level but mostly because of a lack of competition.
I believe I'm a Libertarian at heart (these guys don't get my autopilot vote either), most Republicans are too from what I gather but they don't know it.
I consider my vote to be a true vote, not one cast for party survival or the blocking of some left wing socialist, but a vote for the best available candidate.
If Obama wins because of the support of Barr it will not be a failure of the Barr voters but a failure of the Republican party to nominate a worthy candidate.
McCain supports Global Warming which is nothing more than the biggest plan to redistribute wealth in the history of man.
McCain will not secure the borders to the extent necessary to protect its citizens.
McCain will not remove the IRS from the throats of its productive citizens or repeal the 16th Amendment that allows our government its share before the citizen ever receives his own share of his earnings.
Don't worry about the Supreme Court under a Barr tenure, the Constitution itself would want a Libertarian to read it before any other party if it could speak. And judges would be considered accordingly.
Vote for and speak out for what you truly believe in and you don't have to worry about "did I do or say the right thing?".
And the utter destruction of entitlement spending and anchor babies (not physically) would be enough to make any true American get goose bumps, hell, I might even cry- happy tears of course.
