We had a great service at church yesterday to honor all who served and are currently serving. God bless the USA.
I read the military blogs every day. You won't hear about anything but death in the MSM, you wont' hear about how well we are doing and how that country is getting stronger and growning into a democracy of it's own.
I have had relatives in the Military all the way back to Scotland in the 14th century.
God Bless those who have paid the highest price for our freedom, God comfort thier families.
God Bless those who serve our country and fight for the injustices in the rest of the world under the United States Flag.
Fight the good fight Soldiers, Marines, Sailors and Airmen, we'll keep the home fires burning for you!

Memorial Day is especially meaningful to me because my brother died in Viet Nam on
May 27th, 1968. It was 40 years ago today, but that time stands out clearly in my memory. I am very grateful to these young men and women who are willing to fight for our country so that we don't have people on our soil attacking us. Memorial Day is especially sad for out community as we bury one of our own this week. My sympathies go out to the Weaver family. They are in my thoughts and prayers.
I thought about Davy Weaver and his family. I remembered back to when me and Davy were just little kids on the same l1-12 yr. baseball team....weird now knowing that 28 yrs. later he would die in service of this country.God bless his family and the many others who have lost loved ones this way.
Dear Firefighters, Miliary and Law Enforcement,

I supported the fundraiser for Davy Weaver. The VFW held a chicken-que for Davy's family. What a wonderful thing for vererans of foreign wars to do for the family of a fallen soldier. Davy gave 21 years of his life to this country to protect our freedom, to protect us!!! Soldiers are special people...the bravest of the brave. Whether we support or agree with reasons our country is at war, let us never forget those who look danger and death in the face on a daily basis to protect all of us.
I went to highschool with Davy. I remember him as a genuinely nice, friendly guy. I sincerely thank him for his service and sacrifice for this great country we live in. God bless him and his family.
I thought about my father in WWI. I thought about WWII when we were still a country of honor and used our power for good. I thought of Korea and Vietnam where we fought the Communist Chinese.
I will really celebrate when liar Bush and John McSame are out of power.
As ex-military, I thought about my friends who died in Viet Nam.
