commuter rail...
the state dot board has agreed to run rapid rail to lovejoy....do you think you will live to see commuter rail extended from atlanta to barnesville-lamar county?
Rail may make it here, but not RAPID rail; doesn't matter how fast it goes between stops when it has to make stop in B'ville, Griffin, Hampton, Lovejoy, Jonesboro, College Park, Hartsfield, etc. It will take forever
"There is some real ignorance and arrogance in this town."
Indeed, especially those who haven't ridden MARTA. All the dumped stolen cars in the parking lots, all the bodies left in car trunks, killings of riders leaving the stations.
Just because you don't hear about things on the idiot box (TV), don't believe it isn't happening.
Trust me when I tell you "Mill Street" is nothing compared to Hollywood Blvd or Bankhead Hwy in Atlanta.
Yes, Commuter rail from Atlanta to Barnesville. The new one... Very fast. That cools. That was good. No more vehicles. Something bad air like something gas and building. That is why drought and water crisis. That what Al Gore says...

I sure hope I don't.
We see.
I would take full advantage of that!!
Clayton county is tapping into Fulton County's MARTA.
Two stellar counties to be associated with.
More and more and some more.
2:43 No, no, no. Not sure. Talk about school crisis in Clayton County.

With the price of gasoline...it would be welcomed!
Go spend some time riding MARTA and take a look at your fellow riders. Want that stepping off here in Little Big Town?
The "Mass" in Mass Transit can prove to be problematic, especially to homes and businesses unfortunate enough to be located near the stations.
In response to the comment about what could be stepping off the train here in "Little Big Town"...
Don't flatter yourself. There's nobody in this town who's any better than those living north of here. If you don't believe it, go down Mill St.
Isn't there a crackhead named Luther who roams around B-ville?

6:22 PM, Maybe you were right. You know GP and China. From Atlanta to Barnesville/Lamar County. About 30 or 40 minute.
HEY! leave Luther out of this!
I don't want any small towners coming in and robbing us good folks inside the perimeter. I hope I stays far far away
