Why Has it been a long time coming for Mrs. Ramsey? She is just the best thing in the world.

Who are the DUKES? What have they done? Do they have a business in town?

Anonymous said...

4:56PM,

They own the big yellow brick house downtown. That's about it.

Anonymous said...

Congrats to all the winners! Way to go Rip! For those that dont know Rip.... he was one of Barnesville Academy's most feared on the gridiron!

Anonymous said...

Too bad he would fall down everytime after he caught the ball

Anonymous said...

Where is Dane? Shouldn't he get something?

Anonymous said...

Rip didnt fall down persay, he had to dive for poorly thrown balls by the QB.

Anonymous said...

The Dukes not only own the big yellow home on Thomaston Street, but they also donate countless hours to charitable causes in town. They frequently open their home for fundraising events and have done so for many years. They are most deserving! Congratulations Jean and Charles!

Who was the QB?

Anonymous said...

The QB was Rob Butler who is an outstanding golfer ,but was a liitle jealous of Rip's athletic skills on the football field. Also, Rob idolized Rip at the same time and often wore similar hairstyles and clothes as the Ripster.

Anonymous said...

Sometimes it was hard to tell them apart especially when Rip colored his hair blonde.

Anonymous said...

Besides football did Rip excel in any other sports, like golf or weight lifting at BA.

Anonymous said...

I went to BA and I thought Rip was all the Warriors had ,all the other players were wimpy, spoiled ,brats. I love you Rip!

Anonymous said...

Rip was an athlete. Anything he played with.... uhmm played in he was good at. He did lift weights and could bench his weight, I believe that was around 135 lbs. He was small but hit like a ton of bricks.

Anonymous said...

Rip still wears his BA letter jacket, I saw him walking into pizza hut with it on.

Anonymous said...

2:01 i heard his teammates were afraid to hit him in practice, i thought they were afriad they may hurt him i didn't know he was an animal on the field

Anonymous said...

2:22 animal is an understatement, crazed with murderous frenzy would more fit ole' #86.

Anonymous said...

Man yall people act as if this Rip fellow was out of the mold Brett Favre was cast.

Anonymous said...

2:39 #86 I thought he was #10

Anonymous said...

josey wales you sure have painted a good picture of Rip Moore being a "monster" on the field. From what I recall he missed 2 practices because of his tongue being burnt by a hot Mr.P's pizza.

Anonymous said...

#10 was none other than Todd McBroom. He too was an incredible destructive, hitting machine. His damage path mostly resembled that of an f5 tornado.

Anonymous said...

2:49 You are confused, Rob was #10. It is easy mistake to make

Anonymous said...

Rob "the heart throb" Butler wore # 9 people!!!!!

Anonymous said...

3:07 Todd McBroom was #10 ,Rob I believe was #9. Todd ,Rob, and Rip they all look the same

Anonymous said...

3:02 Didn't he miss football camp because of poison ivy?

Anonymous said...

3:11 your right the 3 of those boys could go for triplets!

Anonymous said...

I thought Al Adamson was the best DB in Warrior history.

Anonymous said...

Rip was the purist athletic speciman to come out of the county. He didnt pursue the Pro ranks so he could stay and take over the family business... he likes chiseling his name on all the tombstones R.I.P.

Anonymous said...

Poor Rip! Ya'll need to leave him alone.

Anonymous said...

Rip was my best friend!!!

Anonymous said...

al moltrum of the bpd is rips cousin.

Anonymous said...

rip is a dane wanna be!

Anonymous said...

At a BA football practice Rip literally almost ripped Matt Maskell's head off, It was a horrible tackle.

Anonymous said...

I've known Rip since I met him in Destin during spring break. He is a sweet ,kind person, who doesn't deserve this childish attempt of poor humor at his expense!!! Congrats at the award ,you and your family deserve it.

Anonymous said...

Jason you sound as if you play ball on the other side of the fence.

Anonymous said...

I don't play sports,it's too violent.

Anonymous said...

I LOVE YOU RIP

Anonymous said...

Why thank you so much to my many fans on here. Yes this is Rip and I'll be signing autographs at Milano's this coming weekend. And to whoever Jason is he still must remember Brock Lanier and Jay Matthews mohawks in the hot tub. BTW, to Kenny G and Danny T......Go Dawgs!

Anonymous said...

I HATED FOOTBALL PRACTICE WHEN JAY AND BROCK WERE LINEBACKERS. I WAS ON THE SCOUT TEAM BACKFIELD AND EVERY DAMM PLAY WE RAN WAS UP THE MIDDLE. THEY WERE SOME MEAN BOYS!

Anonymous said...

now see RIP you put my name on here and I haven't said a word about you watching your one career catch on video drunk and nekkid every night. I bet you have watched that video so much its in black and white now.

Anonymous said...

What in the hell is nekkid?

Anonymous said...

Rip had more than 1 career catch. What was impressive was yards after catch which was 0. He somehow forgot how to run after he caught the ball.

Anonymous said...

N E double K by god I D = i ain't got no clothes on

Anonymous said...

RIP was really a spy for Monroe Mustangs.

Anonymous said...

I doubt he was a spy for Monroe. One of his biggest catches his senior year was against them. I vividly remember it. It was a rainy night,B.A. held a 9-0 lead in the 4th.The Wariors facing 3rd and long was forced to throw to keep the drive alive and run out the clock. As usual Butler was having trouble getting the ball to his recievers. So who does Bazemore call on to catch the ball but the Randy Moss-like Rip Moore. With Moore's blazing speed he toasted the single coverage on the right and was running 20 yards ahead of the closest Mustang. Butler for God's-sake let loose a beauty and hit Moore in stride. The rest of the play was'nt all that pretty though. After the catch it almost look like a deer being shot with a high powered rifle. The Warrirs did get a first down though.

Anonymous said...

If memory serves me right, not only did RIP beat the single coverage by the corner he slipped in behind his linebacker cousin to get open. Butler was being harrassed from the pocket and had to throw it to somenone and ole 86 was the man.

Anonymous said...

And that wasn't the last time RIP slipped in behind his linebacker cousing either. =cO
