prayer okay in this public school but only if it is to allah...
Our country is on a downward slide morally and spiritually,and the children in our schools are having problems because of the decline of the family. It seems to me that there needs to be more prayer in the schools and in the homes to the real God who will listen to a repentant people.
The first Charter Schools like this came into being under President Bush in 1992. They are now included as part of his son's No Child Left Behind program.
It isn't the "liberal democrats" who took public money to fund schools like this. Bush-the-draft-evader is a huge supporter of this just as he supports illegal aliens.
Get your facts right and accept the blame for taxpayer money funding things like this under a big push from draft evading Republicans, like our world famous president goofball.
Yes, it is much better and more patriotic to have your CIA father get you into the national guard so you can snort cocaine, get drunk, and skip guard sessions than to just stay in school to avoid the draft.
It amazes me how Bush supporters consider his Vietnam draft evasion a positive military experience. Of course with his long record of stupid moronic decisions our troops were probably much better off with Bush partying at home rather than fighting next to real men.

These Charter Schools came from Bush senior and Clinton, just like NAFTA did. Binladen was trained by the CIA during republican control. Bush with his no child left behind is funding the Charter Schools and is forcing us to accept illegal aliens.
There is more than enough blame to go around because the gross failures that are destroying our country are caused by BOTH parties.
I'm not sure there is a way to change it. We can't revoke the CIA training of Binladen, we can't undo Bush's stupid Iraq war decision. We can't correct the export of jobs, and we can't correct the trade deficite.
Bitching about one party or the other won't help because the Republicans screwed us as bad as any Democrat ever has, and the opposite is true also.
Obviously they got their point across whether they spell correctly or not. Since when is this English or Grammer class? It's a blog. I remember when we could pray in schools and nothing was ever said. I also remember the year they banned it to. The principal of our school stated the truth about the f'ed up government and instead of reading prayer over the intercom we had a minute of silence. For those of us that wanted to pray we could and for those of us who didn't stood there for one minute and didn't say a damn thing. We as Americans are letting the immigrants that come from different countries with their religions tell us what we can and can't do. It's our own stupid fault for letting it come to this. We cower down like dogs only to be kicked. Maybe we should stand up for what we believe in and fight back for what is rightfully ours.

What an odd president. His justice department and Bush himself refuses to release two border agents who caught a drug smuggler. They were actually jailed because they chased a drug smuggler who refused to stop, and the drug smuggler was released! Then the same President Bush orders Texas to release the convicted rapist and murderer from death row.
I can't believe people want four more years of the Republican Party in the Whitehouse. Rewarding them for the shambles Bush has made of what once was a great nation.

my dog only pees on yellow hidrants with black highlites. if the city manager knew what he was doing he would make them yellow with black accents like my teath so my dog stops doing it on my back door.

I can look at my 1 year old daughter and I see God. She almost died at birth and now she is fine. That was God. I can also look at my 4 year old son and see God!! allah did not do that. allah is not even a person. When did he walk on water can you tell me that?

I think you put all christians in one barrel and judge us on the "bad apples." I also think you need to look past "Baptists" and try understanding other denominations, there are some wonderful people who go to amazing churches. Their goal isnt "Become this or that denomination" their goal is to make Lamar a better place to live through seeing needs and filling those needs.

All Hydrants are color coded for a reason.... So fire fighters know the amount of pressure coming out of that perticulr hydrant.

1. Critical thinking.
2. Creative thinking.
3. Convergent thinking.
4. Divergent thinking.
5. Inductive thinking.
6. Deductive thinking.
Perhaps the most important.
7. Inductive thinking.
The lack of most or all of the above helps explain the reason the country and world is in the sorry mess that it is. I see no way out.
