These kids learned about the agony of defeat long before this game.....hell with all they see on tv and in the schools or own households, do you really think the headline walter put up is that big of a deal? Wow!......
Great job by a young team who will only continue to improve for next year with the coach they have.
12:15 you obviously don't have kids. I will bet you every cent I have that you will never in your lifetime see a picture of his kids crying after a major life disappointment on this web page with the words "agony of defeat" plastered over them. And if he does ever do that, he better not go home.

I don't like the agony of defeat headline when it involves children sports.
I am so proud to have such a coach and a team from Lamar County. It was an awesome season, I can't wait for next season. -Coach Melanie Vaughn

i think it is good for kids to want to win and to hurt when they do not. had one of my kids been in the photo, i would have used the same headline.
what headline would you have used?
I was there and the headline perfectly fit the feelings of the fans too. Great season girls. You're all winners.
Say what you want but you know and I know that you would never do that to your own child.
