is there a law against pitching a fit...there probably is a law against profanity in a court room.....just look back and see what the last lawyer got for profanity used in court.....but i am sure if the press plays up the "fit", he will probably get a tougher sentence....

There may not be a law against throwing a fit in public, but there should be a law against stupidity. Especially a law against saying really dumb things in public forum. For instance, those two ladies who showed up at a recent county commission meeting to complain about the solid waste authority's efforts. One of them said "They said they do this in China; we know how China feels about its people – it’s got so many it doesn’t matter." How racist is that??? That lady should be made to work in the kitchen at one of our fine oriental dining establishments stuffing won tons.

Seriously...if there was a law against stupidity you would have been arrested for that half witted attempt to make an irrelevant point.
I think it's sad. Judge Thomas is a good, and fair, judge. He treats everyone he comes in contact with respectfully. This young man should be held accountable for his actions. I hope since he is a repeat offender, that he gets the max sentence. It's time we get tougher on these criminals so we can keep them off the street.

There is a law against pitching a fit in a courtroom. It's called "contempt of court"! If you would have read the article before you spoke you would know thats what this guy is being charged with.
I have saw a cop get charged with contempt of court for saying "this is a joke" under his breath in open court.
If he would have pitched a "fit" in a public place the charge would have been "disorderly conduct".

why is using someone elses radio a reason for denial of bail.....i thought denial of bail was for murders.....or for someone who is a flight risk....give the young man a break......go after the real criminals.....surely there are some drug dealers or burgerly suspects we can put in jail.....if he was white would he been denied bail.....and would he have gotten 10 days in jail for an outburst....if we are not careful we will have a march in march in lamar

everybody knows there is two sets of rules in the south....one for whites and one for blacks......just this week report showed that one out of every 100 people were in jail....but then showed that one out of every 13 black males were in jail......i bet no other country in the world has this high per cent of prisioners.....and bush has the gall to bad mouth cuba because of a few political prisioners,,,,what about the n. y. times reporter who was jailed because of her report on valerie plame and her husband...political prisioner?

to 5:44, i know kelsey and he is a drug dealer and a theif. so they did go after the right guy. and no he doesnt have a job and yes he lives at home. maybe if some of the dads would put a foot in the butt of their 28 year old unemployee sons who just happen to have a pocket full of money then their wouldnt be so many black males in prison. and if so many liberals want to help so many of these unfortunate victims, walk your white ass into the ness or at the huddle house on a thursday night and offer your services. and please dont call 911 after it is over.

i am sure that everyone in lamar co. is sleeping better each night knowing that this greene person is in our jail eating our food and watching t.v......i am sure glad he didnt get bond.....he was a real threat to our peace.....continue the good work......spend money housing this kind of nonviolent criminals and dont spend it on good ems service
