whats the deal with nameing every new road after ml-whatever?

Makes it easy for the out-of-towners to identify locations that they are most likely to be shot at.

Stop the racial slurs.

I think there are far too many MLK this and MLK that also.

Why didn't they name the road after Duane bell if they wanted to honor a black man? This MLK road name stuff is a litte worn out now.

Why does every road have to be a MLK this or that? If we want to honor MLK we should do what he wanted and educate our children and teach them non-violence.

Name something after someone else for a change for goodness sakes.

Why not name it after some of the people who served on the Ag Authority and by bypassing rules of the authority gave millions of dollars of county assets to the city?

That way we can remember their names and all try to stop them from bypassing written rules and stealing from the county again.

Why not name it after Gene Hardwick, who seems to bypass all the laws and rules? That would be another fitting name for a bypass.

I have to disagree 7:46. Dumb As- Pass or Turd Avenue is not a fitting name for the new road.

7:46....get over it already! Please find something else to cry about.

Listen ahole when you the victim of a crime you chase it until justice is served. Are you one of the criminals involved in this crime? If you are we coming to get you.
Now you bend over it!

Now stop all that childish behavior.

What we should do, since the commissioners won't do it, is remember who the county people were who wrongly gave the city millions of dollars when these people decided they couldn't do the job they took on.

Since the commissoners are too intermingled with the city or influenced by them in some strange esoteric way someone has to police county assets.

This should not involve immature name calling or cussing, but rather statements of facts.

It doesn't hurt to remind people about the millions that were taken from county taxpayers and who was responsible.

Until they publically appologize and tell us why they gave away county assets even though the laws indicate a PROPER disposition of property we should keep bringing it up.

I for one (and I'm sure there are many others) would like to know what they were thinking when they gave county assests they were in charge of to the city, and why the county let it all drop.

Every person outside the city paid for that land, the value should not be unevenly distributed to the city.

This is why our governemnt is so screwed up on a national level. People just let them do crooked things and don't complain.
