That's "en"list. I joined @ 17 - saw 2 wars and some you don't know about. Got out @ 39. There's not a draft now - so 18 is OK. It will teach responsibility.
there are some mid 40s men i know who are to immature to drink and are closet alcolholics. they started out as teen drinkers. do you think it was because they are wired wrong in the brain or because they started drinking to young. is it inevitable they became sick or do they learn it early. this is a serious question not a joke or attack because they need help.

That's not my point. I don't think that the legal drinking age should be 18. I believe the legal age to inlist should be 21.

I enlisted at 17 could drink at 18. Ijust do not understand why law enforcement has a 17 year old with them. Not a 18 thru 20?
Why does it matter what the buyers age was? They should have been checking the ID's.

I say make the lawfull drinking age 18, but make the lawfull driving age 21.
I'm 24 and I will admit that I drove reckless at age 16 compared to when I was 21.
I started drinking when I was 17 and now I'm a casual drinker, only drinking when I go camping or at a nice restaurant.
I know not all people are alike.
