poster suggested topic #2: sunday alcohol sales in georgia...
should sunday package sales be allowed or should we continue with our so-called blue laws?

Sunday alchohol sales should absolutely be allowed. It is an embarressment to this state that we still allow right-wing Christian extremist to dictate our laws
You must be one of those who drinks "Mad Dog 20" for communion. All God's chilren going to heaven,right? Get your booze on Saturday night and you can stay plastered all day Sunday....and call in sick on Monday. What a life!
to many bible blind people to get that law passed right now,but it sure is funny to see all those people pile out of church on sunday morning,head stright home and fix themselves a strong one or head down to macon (where none of their fellow christians will see them)and have a few with their lunch,by the way you do know the difference between a baptist preacher and a methodist dont ya ,, the methodist preacher will speak to ya when he see's ya in the liquor store

Frye, do you know this district attorney? How can you say all your crap and probably have never even met this person. He is just doing his job. You are always ranting about the government is always right. Why not in this case? If you dont like a law work to get it changed.

If it were my daughter I would be fighting as hard as I could to make sure he got the maximum sentencing. My opinion and I am entitled to it! NOTHING Frye is dictating will change my mind on that!

Come on people...what if it were your son???? Would you want him in jail for 10 years for doing what all kids do? Yeah some punishment would be fine but what did this kid do that deserves this harsh of a punishment. Yall need to lay of Cameron on this one. He is right!!! I think the only reason any parent would push or agree with this type of sentence would be doing so out of embarassment because their daughter got caught.
Cameron, you may have a gripe. It, in my opinion, does deal with this subject. It is though you are interrupting our conversation. Didnt your parents teach you politeness? Doesnt appear that they did.

We need beer sales on Sundays cause every other state has it. We're in the minority here and BEER is good.
It was a crazy law to begin with. It needs to be changed.
