I hope this is a DIFFERENT Sheriff Waller than the one by that name that left four years ago. I hope he has had time to think about how the old one was and not make the same mistakes.
I'd like to thank WG and everyone else for maintaining a good blog and top notch news reporting. The other place makes a good effort to but it is impossible to do the same quality job with a limited staff and budget. I think that is why they pick and choose what they cover or why they take stories from other places, not because they are intentionally dishonest.

I have talked with several officers who say they are trilled to have a working sheriff back in office. Welcome back sheriff Waller!

I see LW has released henry from jail and KR posted the bond. We are offically back to the good old boy system.
Someone posting HB's bail has nothing to do with LW.
I feel four years younger. Someone turned back the clock.
The dept of immigration and other people had a hold on him. Why did LW not honor that hold request?
If there were actually a hold LW would have had no choice but to hold him. If not then he had no choice but to allow him to post bail.
