ABSOLUTELY!!!! Anyone that can commit such an obviously pre-meditated crime and also combined with the just horrible circumstances in which it was done deserves no less!!! An eye for an eye. There are online websites the handle nothing but online petitions. Try researching that.

I absolutely think they deserve the death penalty. Do I think that our DA will go there??? Absolutely not! We can only pray that justice be served in this case. i do not think either of them feel any remorse except for the fact that they were caught. My hats off to Joe Buice and his team for solving this prior to his administration ending.
Absolutely, let us know when youget a petition started!!! I feel very strongly about this especially considering the fact that they appeared to gloat over what they had done, revisiting the site often enough to leave a worn path and leaving behind drink cups and cigarette wrappers...what did they do , throw their own little party while the body was decomposing?
I know everyone wants to kill somebody nowadays but can we at least wait for some facts to come out before we start wanting to kill off the accused. I am not saying they are innocent but let's get some facts before we start a petition for death.
I am not sure if I would be willing to support the death penalty. It is not my place to judge the guilt of others, per se. I believe that the crime was horrible and that if convicted they deserve equal measure. But (and especially during the season) I am reminded of redemption and the ability to be forgiven. Personally I think it is too early to rule one way or the other or to even begin throwing stones at others glass houses.
yes, lets get that petition started so that all of us that sign it will not have to serve on that jury......the defense will dismiss anyone who says they in favor of the death penalty before the trial begins.......even tho i am not in favor of death penalty, i would sign that thing just to be sure i wouldnt have to serve on that jury
I know a young man in our county who is paralyzed now because a gangster that was caught with a solen gun and car in Forsyth was given a plea deal.
The same gangster that got the sweet plea deal murdered someone in Macon, and shot and paralyzed a young man right here in Forsyth at the Dairy Queen.
I am about sick of all the plea deals the prosecutor in Monroe makes. It seems like that is the only way we can win a case here in Monroe.

Amen to the gentleman from Monroe County. The same thing happens in Lamar County, as well. We can only pray this time will be different and these two will get what is coming to them/
I beleive they should get what they gave! The Bible says an eye for an eye. She was so cold hearted to leave HER children with out a mother or a Father. Now every Christmas the boys will have the memory that their Dad was found dead and their mother and her lover did it. They need to pay, anyone who does this should pay big time, and not the taxpayers!

I still think it to be a criing shame that most of u want them hung before there is any evedience in this case that proves they did it. All of u should be ashamed. What if that where you in there, wouldnt u want your due processe? and u walter should be held acountable for any thing that might happen becuase of this blog. all u are doing is stearing up the public into a modern day linch mob.

Looking at this from the boy's perspective, I think they have lost enough. As Joshua's 2nd grade teacher, I saw Jennifer as a caring mother, making sure her boys did their homework, got to school, etc. I think if Jennifer is found guilty in a trial by jurers, then she should not face the death sentence. The boys have lost their father, they should not have to lose their mother, too.
KariS looks to me like she snow balled you like she did the rest of us .She didnt do all that her neighbors did.Jenni didnt care if they got through school or not. I do however think the boys have lost enough but we will have to let the courts decide that.

I am not justifying what Jennifer (not Jenni) did or did not do, but would Jesus have stoned the woman? Judge not, lest ye be judged. Yes, our society allows the death penalty, and I have to agree that it is justified in some instances. I am just saying, look at this through the eyes of 8 and 10 year old boys who have just had their lives turned upside down.
people please don't forget the hard work of the sheriff and the lead investigator who broke these two nut cases, you can only say they worked until the end for the people of Lamar Co. to me that shows an enormous amount of character as I found out today Waller is letting this lead investigator mccrery go he said his service to Lamar is no longer needed huh? everyone please be careful were losing good people because of politics

Okay, not only do I believe that she could not have been a very caring mother, I mean how much couold she possibly have thought about her children as she commited this horrible act in their very own home, while we might assume they were sleeping in their beds. I mean didn't she say that she got those children up and put them on the bus for school the very morning in question? Those children need a quick and clean break from their mother so that they may move on with their lives. God willing and with alot of love and support I pray that these children will eventually be able to live with this nightmare if not put it behind them.
