falcons have become a pretty good team...
how far do you think they will go this season?

yep, now the thughs are gone too i can watch them and hope they win
maybe blank got the right quarterback this time instead of wheeling one around in a wheel chair he has one that the community can respect and the foundation of a team can be built around.......not too mention some top notch recievers. The head coach is a rookie suprise just as well as Ryan is though. I do b/v they will make the playoffs, but crack under the pressure in the first round........BTW.....Buddy/Brock....give up the Vikings....get a winner...I hear Culpepper is now a Lion...lol
Win #1 Detroit Lions- an 0-9 team that has begged Dante Culpepper out of retirement...wow!
Win #2 Kansas City Chiefs- a 1-8 team that only has only 2 players that anybody really has heard of.
Win #3 Green Bay Packers- a 4-5 club. The Falcons eeked this one out in the end.
Win #4 Chicago Bears- After blowing a fourth quarter lead to the Bears the Falcons had a big KO return and a Hail mary prayer answered to kick a game-winner in the final seconds. Another eeker!
Win #5 Oakland Raiders- a 2-7 team that has beaten only the teams that Atlanta has claimed victories over...cant read too much into this win either.
Win #6 New Orleans- a 4-5 team that has lost Reggie Bush and has lost every game since doing so. No, cant seem to find a quality win here either.
Now the 3 losses were to respectible teams, but, were not even close games. In fact two of the games the Falcons didnt even find the endzone. TB 24-9,Car 24-9 and Phil 27-14.
If anyone can look at this breakdown and can honestly say the Falcons are good, then you would have to be a damn fool!

So according to your logic Jerry the Falcons could run the table with possible 2 losses with Tampa and Carolina. But those two games are at the dome where the Falcons have not lost. The remaining games besides those two are against teams whose record is not as good as the Falcons. SD and Minn will have a chance since the games are at their home field but in the dome no chance. Yes, at best the Falcons will finish 9-7 and that wont win the NFC South and a wildcard is out of the question because of too many conference losses. All a 9-7 record does for them is miss the playoffs and get a later draft pick and a tougher schedule next year.
Our own Viking twins are still pissed that the Birds kicked them out of the NFC championship in their own backyard (aka the big hefty trash bag with a condom over it) in '99. Number one in the NFC North? Nothing to brag about. That's the weakest conference in pro football save for the AFC West. Minn and Atl would be a pretty good head to head actually. Matt Ryan would be the difference maker giving the Falcons the edge.
Bring that rook up to TN to play in a real pro football conference. Send them nomadic fools with the funny helmets too. It won't be pretty, but it will be a W.
Tennessee and the New York Giants are without a doubt the 2 best teams...With this said here is how the final few weeks are going to unfold for the teams mentioned on geiger's counter the last few days.
Atlanta Falcons: much to the dismay of Kenny G.,Scoop, and the Moore girl the Falcons will finish 9-7 and miss the playoffs.
Minnesota Vikings: Much to the dismay of the Viking twins,Dane, and whoever else the Vikings will finish 8-8. This record could win the North but Divsion winner here will be the Packers at 8-8 because of more Divisional wins.
Tennessee Titans: The Titans are good. The old drunk Kerry Collins does what it takes and limits his mistakes to keep them undefeated. But,yes, but this is what happens in a couple of weeks. Collins drunk-a** gets hurt. The Titans are still undefeated. Enter Vince Young. Losses start coming and after the Divisional playoffs they are sitting at home along with the Falcons,Vikings,Scoop, Kenny G., the Viking Twins, Dane, Keith Bulloch and the ugly Moore girl......New York Giants over the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Super Bowl.

Vikings are #1 in the NFC North ...where as the Dirty Terds are in 3rd in the NFC South...why may I ask, should anyone give up the Vikings?
