Like the underage pregnancy parade? I think that's an unofficial event..

get over it. You probably were just lucky and didn't get pregnant when you were there age.

It's their age, not there age...

12:21, that's not funny, even though there are way too many pregnant teens these days.
As a student of lcchs, I am so glad that our new administrators are doing more things for the school. With more activities and the advisor program, the school is trying to give us less to complain about. And, it's not like they're saying, "We thought this up; you have to do it." We are telling them our ideas, communicating to come to a compromise between education and fun.
I, for one, will be cheering with the crowds come bonfire night and gameday, even though we aren't winning like we need to be.

The week prior to the game, the kids had a blast wearing their strange outfits for each day and expressing themselves by wearing fun clothes and hats. The parade was great. And if anyone reading this post would have attended the pep rally and bonfire, they would have had a great time! You would have seen the kids of Lamar County coming together with team spirit. You would have seen them enjoying what other school offer their students. All involved need to be complimented on their efforts for making this a great high school memory for the kids. The county and city law enforcement, fire departments, school staff, cheerleaders, band, students and parents came together in grand style. The dance was well attended and enjoyed. The Lamar County community needs to support and encourage more activities like this for the students. See what you can do to give the students of today the same kind of fond memories you enjoyed in school. And if you did not have any fond memories then try to help change that and make it happen for the kids of today. I know that it will have a positive impact on academics, attendance and school pride. You are paying for the schools so you do have a say. Bring your ideas and suggestions to the school administration; offer your time, support or at least your attendance to events. These kids will sooner or later be your employees, neighbors or neighborhood thieves. You can just sit back and gripe but if you do only that you will be helping to increase the crime and discord for Lamar Counties future. You have a choice to become part of the solution instead of the problem. Everyone talks about how they wish things were like they use to be with more wholesome values. Well instead of just complaining in blogs or with your friends, voice your suggestions to the schools to offer more wholesome events and also offer your services and support. Your actions can make a difference!
