Who thought Powell was a Republican anyway? I never did.
I think it is nice, however I would of liked to have seen him endorsement him a little earlier. But it is still a good move for Powell to start rebuilding his tattered reputation as one of our nation's elder statesmen.
i never had any respect for the guy anyway .he had a free ride all the way through his military carrer because he was black, the only reason he was in the position he was was because he was black, and the military needed more blacks in the spot light to satisfy the crying minotities
must be a color thing. let obama go with it cause the white man been trying to give the country away for a long time. a black man cant screw it up any worse than all the white liberals already has. and if he does we will replace him with a mexican. one of the illegal ones. i guess old rev write was right after all.

who is this dumb as$ with all this war crap. is they a point to all that or you just didnt have nuthing to do for a while cepting posting a bunch of chatter
powell was a smart man but he didn't amount to nothing compared to old norman. if the president and powell would have listened to norman during the first gulf war -we wouldn't be there now.
gen powell joins the ranks of zell miller and joe lieberman......if the republicans can lower the price of gas 40 days before every election, why cant they lower it year round.......jan 20th, 2009. cant come soon enough.....
The Republicans lowered the gas price? The Democrats are in the majority in Congress. If you truly believe that, don't sleep on your side tonight. Your brains will roll out. If you let Colin Powell decide for you who you should vote for president, the same advice applies.
I agreed with Gen. Powell's reasons for endorsing Obama for president. It will be great for America to again be represented by an intelligent, dignified man who has a plan to make the American Dream reachable for the vast majority and not just the ultra-rich. I'm not impressed with leaders that divide America. This is my America and I feel the policies and character assanations of Bush and McCain (and Palin) have not helped my family or most people I've talked to. I hope Powell's words will help bring the changes I think America deserves.
I think it's great for Colin Powell to have endorsed Obama and helps give him the credibility needed by doubters related to his ability to handle the terrorism issues. I think Obama was doing fine without the endorsement, but it sure doesn't hurt anything.

WAKE UP! God is not going to put Obama in the white house because he is not a Christian and will refuse to lay his hand on the Bible to swear in (just like before when he swore in) you wait and see. Yes Lord! God is gonna put McCain in the White House. Wait and see!!! GOD IS COOL!!!
He's still ticked off at Bush for making him the scape goat on the WMD's.
Remember, it was Powell that went before the 'world' at the UN stating the reasons for the need for regime change.

That is very good information. I wish more people would do their homework. The democratic party is so hungry for that power they are dilberately overlooking the clear facts.
