Save the last dance for me.
I'm sorry, but I do not see how the city is allowing ALCOHOL PRODUCTS to be sold at the street dance. Isn't this in the C-1 district? Do they have a permit for that? I thought this was a family event. I sure hope they are checking IDs so our teens aren't dinking and partying again.
Did they have a permit for the BBQ festival.....YES. It is going to be a disaster down there. The city cant block the street off...all the drunks, cars, and golf carts should make for an interesting night.
Keep your teen at home! That would be the smart thing to do.
We need a convertible for Miss Barnesville 08 (Ashley Holliday) for the Buggy Days parade. Our original car and back up car have both fallen thru. If any body has one we can use.. or you want to drive her in the parade... please call me.
Thanks!

12:31 PM and 6:44 PM,
You have no clue... No beer for Barnesville Buggy Days. I saw Barnesville Police, Barnesville Task Force, Lamar County Sheriff, Barnesville/Lamar Conty Fire Fighters, EMS and (Georgia Forestry Commission) Ranger.
Just wanted to say thanks to every one who has tried to help us find a convertible today ( and yes, we still need one). We have really seen that "small town pride" and "neighbors helping neighbors" at its' best today.
Thanks again!
Gordon
Wonder why our chamber didn't advertise they got the permit to cell Alcohol.
I was at the street dance, and didn't see anyone acting up or getting crazy. Everything was professional. The Chamber did a great job. Can't wait until next year.
