Congratulations Trojans. Exciting win. You showed you can do it.
Go Trojans!!!!! Good job guys and coaches. This just proves that you can do. Keep it up.
Congrats TROJANS!!! Way to go! It was a very exciting game.
To Coach Strickland and the entire Trojan football program, I am so proud of you all and the courage you all showed on Friday night. You all played with the heart and the courage that has been missing for a while. David Watts and Ronald Harris remember that I owe each of you a dollar for your awesome stepping up as the seniors and as leaders.

Very good job guys. You all played with your hearts in this game. Everyone should be proud.
Congrats Coach Strickland and all the players and staff of the Trojans.
On Friday, October 31 the Trojans will host Pike County for the final game ever at Summers Field Memorial Stadium. Next year, the Trojans till move into their brand new stadium on Roberta Drive. To say farewell to the field and celebrate its nearly 70 year history, the Lamar County school system is inviting everyone who ever played, football or soccer, marched, cheered, drilled, etc. on Summers Field, whether for Lamar County or Gordon Military, to come out and be a part of history. A huge tailgate party is planned for before the game and all Summers Field participants from over the years will be invited to come down on the playing field and be recognized at halftime of the game as a history of Summers Field is read. So make your plans now to attend and pass the word along to anyone you know who is an alumni of Summers Field. Look for more details in the coming weeks in The Herald-Gazette and for more information contact Mr. Calvin Scandrett at the High School or Dr. Bill Truby in the superintendent's office.
7:28 PM,
No win!!! Former Gordon Military and Former Gordon Football and Former Gordon Wrestling. We have Military at Lamar County High School, since 2006. Like pee wee... Not Gordon Military. Say good bye Summers Field football. New building or new Gordon College building or home/apartment on Summers Field? Anyway
the trojans are on their way to greatness thanks to Strickland and it started last friday!!! Everybody should be very proud and come out to support the Trojans for the rest of the year!!!
dont forget the finale for Summers Field too:)
~GO LC~!!!!!!!
