BRAVO...bad deal for the 96% of mortgage holders who pay their bills on time.

Queen Nancy Pelosi, Rep Barney Frank baby, Senator "Milk-Toast" Reid and Senator "Give me more Money" Chris Dodd are leading this country down the path toward a third-world country. They must to stopped at all cost!!!

Paulson is a joke, a tool of Wall Street. Let the Wall Street money mongers fail and I am certain our economy is strong enough to take the hit and survive.
I am very disappointed in President Bush...he should know better.

Free markets work. Government interference will only make things worse. Just listen to Barney Baby, Maxine Waters and that gang, they will tell you that what we need is $700B make things right...with $200B going to ACORN!!!! WRONG!!!!

What we need is less interference by our government in the day to day activity of our lives.

Amen on less government interference. Also, we need more able bodies working. And people need to learn not to spend more money than they have in their pocket because we the taxpayers are tired of dropping our hard earned dollars into theirs.

Good move. If the greedy ba#$%@rds get bailed out for screwing up, they will never learn. This is no different than welfare for the wealthy.

Starting today, if all Americans that object to the bulls*&t in DC then do not continue to send your tax money to them to spend. If "we" stop sending our money to them thay can't spend it stupidly.

I know you think "well they will come after me". If enough people would REVOLT the system then we win.

A score for Liberty is what this is. The bail out is WRONG WRONG WRONG! I find it interesting that most Dems supported Bush and that a majority of the Republicans went against Bush on this. I wish we could get a government that governed by the Constitution that we have instead of by the wills of Socialist Elites.

Anon 9:59,
I just saw this. This thread is kind of old, however, I'll respond anyway. What in my post makes you think that I do not have a clue?

Yes, I have a job. I am a small business owner. I have a house which is paid for. And I had a mortgage for about 10 years.

Not only do I know what I'm talking about, but so does Thomas Jefferson. Here's a quote from him for you sir:

"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs." - Thomas Jefferson

The people no longer have that issuing power. The Federal Reserve does.
