Whats the difference in an alcohol-fueled young peoples party and an alcohol-fueled street dance. The street dance got lucky with the minors being outside the event that got arrested.

Well lets see, The street dance carded everyone, and plenty of police were on scene. In this case you have underage kids drinking in a cemetery, As far as I'm aware there were no fights, no car crashes, no trouble what so ever. Yes I was at the dance it was a good time and I saw a lot of old friends. That is the difference. Grow up and stop hating everything.
I believe it said the guy had fled the scene before Sgt Moltrum got there. So he was long gone.If Moltrum hadnt been working it they probably would still be trying to figure out who the driver was....why dont you go and tell Moltrum how to do his job.
fled the scene....this guy is a detective that suspects alcohol was involved? There were several witnesses....he had plenty of time if he was a real cop, but yet he works for barnesville p.d.......its a joke anyways...just like the sheriffs department........might as well be volunteer fire figthers
you must have missed the arrest report underage drinking going on across the street in the golf cart parking lot. Tax payers pay the police i'm glad you felt safe. looked funning seeing the nation guard out too. haha
Has anyone ever heard of MADD argue your point about people getting carded and having a good time. Thank God you had a good time this time. The police chief was sure concerned about it. Maybe you need to grow up -Street Dance is a Great ideal. Drinking in public never a good ideal. You said everything that could happen didn't. Did you go home with everybody - domestic Violence can happen after the fact. How many unplanned pregancy result in having a good time. Don't let friend drink and drive cost a friend his life recently. Killed because a person was having a good time. Mad no Sad that you can't see the pain that can result in somebody having a good time.

If you buttholes can wait a few years, you will be able to party in Greenwood Cemetery and not bother a sole or do any property damage in the cemetery because that's where you will be.

The young man arrested for the cemetery incident is my nephew. This young man is NOT from a broken home, but has lived in a dysfunctional home situation. No, I don't think he should've done what is being said to have done. He should've never been at the cemetery or driving w/o a license,drinking,etc. However, if the police knew there was often a party at the cemetery, why weren't they staking it out? And the full story is not being told here. Yes, he ran and he shouldn't of. Now he's being held responsible for everything. If you were there, come forward and tell what really went on. He's accepting his punishment. Don't automatically assume that you know what type of person he is because of his picture. These same people that assume the worst about him probably assume all blondes are dumb, all overweight people are lazy, and all country folks are dumb rednecks. Guess again, and look in the mirror. Because he has piercings, some of you have already prejudged him as lazy,low-life scum. I am upset that the paper feels the need to put his picture in the paper. What purpose does it serve? I hate the piercings,too. But don't automatically assume the worst if you do not know this person. This man has a warm,loving family of grandparents,aunts and uncles who love him and have tried to help him get on the right path. What have you done to help a young person get on the right path? I can tell you, I pray at night that something I say will change him, I desparately want him to become a mature,responsible, productive adult.How I wish I knew the right words to help him. Do you know the right thing to say? I'm just saying, don't judge someone until you've been in their shoes. Let's find something for our young people to do, something productive to keep them busy. Not many jobs to offer in Barnesville, no YMCA's or Boy's/Girl's Clubs. What does Barnesville have to offer a young person? Especially the lower/middle class set. Are there programs set up while they are in the local jail to rehabilatate them? And to the Lamar County teacher who told my nephew when he was in school that he'd never amount to anything, I believe you to be partially responsible. Why couldn't you have inspired this young man to be a better person,instead you gave up on him. YOU make all educators look bad. I'm so thankful for the good teachers I had in school. And yes, teachers, I know it's much harder these days, but just think before you say something like this to someone-you could change their life forever. You may think I'm biased, but yes, I believe there is a great person beneath this disrespectful and angry person. I've seen down to his heart, it's there. He's got good in him,help us find it and bring it out!

Name one thing that went wrong with the street dance. Nothing, yet you still want to complain. If drinkings not your thing then don't drink.
