not sure if i posted this before:

I saw you, hug your purse closer to you in the grocery store line.
But, you didn't see me, put an extra $10.00 in the collection plate last Sunday.

I saw you, pull your child closer when we passed each other on the sidewalk.
But, you didn't see me, playing Santa at the local mall.

I saw you, change your mind about going into the restaurant.
But, you didn't see me, attending a meeting to raise more money for the hurricane relief.

I saw you, roll up your window and shake your head when I rode by. But, you didn't see me, riding behind you when you flicked your cigarette butt out the car window.

I saw you, frown at me when I smiled at your children.
But, you didn't see me, when I took time off from work to run toys to the homeless.

I saw you, stare at my long hair. But, you didn't see me, and my friends cut ten inches off for Locks of Love.

I saw you, roll your eyes at our leather jackets and gloves.
But, you didn't see me, and my brothers donate our old ones to those that had none.

I saw you, look in fright at my tattoos. But, you didn't see me, cry as my children were born and have their name written over and in my heart.

I saw you, change lanes while rushing off to go somewhere.
But, you didn't see me, going home to be with my family.

I saw you, complain about how loud and noisy our bikes can be.
But, you didn't see me, when you were changing the CD and drifted into my lane.

I saw you, yelling at your kids in the car. But, you didn't see me, pat my child's hands, knowing he was safe behind me.

I saw you, reading the newspaper or map as you drove down the road. But, you didn't see me, squeeze my wife's leg when she told me to take the next turn.

I saw you, race down the road in the rain. But, you didn't see me, get soaked to the skin so my son could have the car to go on his date.

I saw you, run the yellow light just to save a few minutes of time.
But, you didn't see me, trying to turn right.

I saw you, cut me off because you needed to be in the lane I was in. But, you didn't see me, leave the road.

I saw you, waiting impatiently for my friends to pass. But, you didn't see me. I wasn't there.

I saw you, go home to your family. But, you didn't see me.

Because, I died that day you cut me off.

I was just a biker. A person with friends and a family.
But, you didn't see me.

EVEN IF YOU DON'T LIKE US, RESPECT OUR RIGHTS TO RIDE WHAT WE CHOOSE AND TAKE A FEW EXTRA SECONDS TO BE SURE WE'RE NOT IN 'YOUR' WAY - LIVE TO RIDE . . . RIDE TO LIVE

Les was the best never did he settle for less. See you again oneday friend!

I have a very dear friend, much like Les. When we go to Nashville to visit them, we always enjoy going out with them to THEIR places because they know just about everyone and everyone is so friendly and genuine. We love our biker friends and I'm sure Les could have been one of them. Many will miss him.

what happened?did someone pull out in front of him?

I went to high school with Leslie. I last saw him in a local store a few weeks ago when I heard his distinct voice on another isle and I took the time to search him out to say hello. I am so saddened to hear of his tragic death. My condolences go out to Tommy, Denny and the rest of his family.

Earthquake in Chino Hill which rhymes with barnesville. Watch for cracks in ground. If ground shakes its aftershock. pets might fall. no report of death. trees loosing leaves. volcano might form in city like that movie.

Thanks,
Lamar County VFD

How can you people disrespect this man's tragic passing with that mumbo jumbo about lightning strikes and earthquakes? May God have mercy on your souls.

3:59......That one idiot that's so obsessed
with the fire dept (that posted at 3:14) always puts stuff on every topic regardless of what it is. The post below it is making fun of that dumbass. You're right a topic about the deceased should be left pure. I sure would like to find out who this fire-fetish dude is!

If that dude is really a firefighter it's a sad day for Lamar.

Anonymous said...

any updated news on bruce Knowles?

Anonymous said...

I have heard Bruce passed away last night, sad.. such a loss...

Anonymous said...

“These were all motorcycle people,” noted Spalding sheriff’s investigator Capt. Tony Ranieri.
Wow! Nice observation Capt. Ranieri! What are you trying to say??? That maybe this happened because they ride bikes? Give me a break! It's a freaking Moose Lodge, and it could have happened to anyone! So don't stereo-type people! Just because someone rides a motorcycle, doesn't mean they are bad people. It was a bad situation...yes, but IF you recall, there was one "motorcyclist" that was trying to look out for another "motorcyclists" life. And to me...ALCOHOL was the to blame here!!!!!!!!! NOT MOTORCYCLE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So get a life!!!!

AND JUST SO EVERYONE KNOWS...THERE WILL BE A CHAIRITY RIDE HELD IN HONOR OF BRUCE KNOWLES TO HELP RAISE MONEY FOR HIS FAMILY, SINCE BRUCE DID NOT HAVE INSURANCE, AND....THE SPALDING CO. SHERIFF'S OFFICE AND CAPT. RANIERI...BE PREPARED... BECAUSE THESE "MOTORCYLE PEOPLE" WILL BE RIDING BY YOU!!!!

If you are interested in riding in honor of Bruce Knowles, keep your ears open, plans are being made!!! Thanks so much!

We love you Bruce! You will be missed dearly! Our thoughts and prayer go out to the Knowles family. May God keep you and comfort you in your loss!

Crystal S.

Walter, please stop the person disrespecting this blog. A man was killed and these comments should be kept respectfull. Its not only this blog, it is also on the Knowles blog whom passed away as well. There are plenty of other blogs for them to play on without disrespecting someones loss. thank you

Anonymous said...

Better yet, Walter, it would be great if you would publish his name. He needs a GOOD ass whoopin for the way he disrespects even people who have passed away. I wonder if its not the same idiot who promised to have the tracks pulled if he were elected.
