List: Georgia's head football coaching vacancies

By my count, there have been 51 openings for head coaches among GHSA schools since the season ended, and only nine have been filled officially. A few others have a choice in mind but haven't made an announcement. Not all vacancies are official, either. Since the GHSA and the state board of education doesn't keeps track of this, any list of job openings is unofficial.

Is coaching worth it?....
I know this will spawn debate, but, I believe that it is worth it. Take a look at the schools who have good coaching and good results ON the field lt leads to pride off the field. In Lamar, kids dont care because they have nothing to care about. The community is not backing the school, there is NO community unity when it comes to pride. But I believe that if we have a filcker of hope ON the field people would be more apt to give money to the program. More seats in the stands equals more $$$ in the bank. More $$$ in the bank equals upgrades in school programs. So to those who think Sports are over rated in our schools I would suggest you look into other "Productive" schools and see if there is a link between sports, community pride, and education!
