This is what we need. The fellow who let the city walk away with all the county tax money for the Ag Authority and countless other bad management calls back in office.
Stay home Burnette and save your money your descission making days are over with and so will some of the other good old boys days be over with in less than 12 months.
I am so glad someone else is running for that spot. I know Mr. Hearn is a fine man and hopefully he'll help Lamar County stop spending money wastefully.
dont plan on hearn to quit the spending cause behind hearn is jay and gene to hold the balance of power in the county. this goes back to the scheaming to remove rick mcquary from the water authority. rick is the person that made the authority work but was stabbed in the back by some of the so called politicians. new blood is needed but not blood from the good old boy network. they has got to be somebody out there that really cares for the county so please don't get led down a one way street
Would someone tell me what a good ole boy is and what do you have to do to qualify....in my opinion, I think you whiners seem to be jealous of anyone that does not belong to the poor class.

Its funny how people don't like the good ole boys till they need something from them then, its all kissy kissy. Its kind of like how some people feel about the police...they cant stand them till they need their help. I agree with the other poster...it all boils down to jealousy.
