As far as popularity among the media, which is what the Heisman has really become, Tebow probably does deserve the trophy. But, for what he actually does on the playing field, my choice is Colt Brennan of Hawaii. The only reason Brennan did not win the Heisman is because he plays in the WAC. I watched this guy several times this season on TV and he is the real deal. He and his receivers will give UGA fits in the Sugar Bowl. The key will be Georgia being more physical up front than the Warrior linemen are used to. If Hawaii's O line can protect Brennan, he will pick the Dawgs secondary apart. Not saying Hawaii wins because I think Georgia will out-athlete them in the long run, but I believe Brennan is good enough to make a game of it.

It's great that Tebow won the Heisman, but I think that it's even greater that he won the Davey O'Brien Award. The Heisman represents only on the field accomplishments, while the O'Brien takes into account how a player performs on AND OFF the field. Now, THAT'S something I can respect.

Tebow is a rare bird as far as college quarterbacks are concerned. He will continue to dominate as long as he doesn't get hurt.
