pigskin prognostications week 13...

i went 8-2 last week. now at 75-35 for the season for an average of .681.

usc@arizona state: the #11 trojans do battle with the #6 sun devils in the thursday night game for a likely spot in the rose bowl. the game is in tempe but the trojans are a 3-point favorite. vegas must know something. usc 27 arizona state 24.

arkansas@lsu: nuttjob's hogs go to baton rouge friday to take on the #1 bayou bengals. will houston have the brains to let darren mcfadden win it for him? uh, no! lsu wins in a rout. lsu 45 arkansas 10.

texas@texas a&m: the #13 longhorns are going for their sixth in a row over the aggies and are a near touchdown favorite on the road in another friday game. horns win big and hasten the firing of dennis franchione. texas 31 texas a&m 3.

kansas@missouri: the #2 jayhawks host the #4 wildcats in a game with huge big 12 and bcs implications. should be one of the best games of the season. the jayhawks are 2 point favorites but i think the cats get it done. missouri 21 kansas 17.

connecticut@west virginia: this is our gamblers alert game as #20 connecticut is a 17.5 point underdog at #5 west virginia. mountaineers win but not by that much. west virginia 27 connecticut 17.

florida state@florida: #12 gators are a two touchdown favorite at home against the unranked seminoles. tim tebow, who cries after games, is the apparent front runner for the heisman. sickening! can the seminoles derail his quest? nope! florida 21 fsu 20.

clemson@south carolina: a big rivalry on rivalry day as the #22 tigers go to columbia to face the unranked gamecocks. tigers are just a 3-point favorite and steve superior needs a big win to calm the cock faithful. i think he gets it. south carolina 14 clemson 13.

virginia tech@virginia: the #8 hokies go on the road to face off with the #20 cavaliers in what should be another great game. cavs are not a weak sister this year and are only 3.5 point underdogs at home. i think they get the win. virginia 10 virginia tech 7.

tennessee@kentucky: the unranked wildcats are 3-point favorites at home against the #18 vols. the entire dawgnation will be rooting for andre woodson and the vols struggle on the road. wildcats get a good bowl game with the win. kentucky 41 tennessee 24.

georgia@georgia tech: the dawgs are 3.5 point favorites at grant field where they will have as many - if not more fans onhand - than tech. many think the dawgs will roll but i think tech will battle hard for chan gailey's job - for three quarters. dawgs prep for sec title game with a hard fought win over their archrivals. georgia 45 georgia tech 35.

I agree with your UGA-GT analysis, but your score is off. GT's defense is too good to give up 45 points and GT's offense is too bad to score 35. I would say 20-10 is more realistic.
