Peter Banks will make one hell of a mayor for Barnesville.

I don't know him. Does he live in the city limits?

Yes Banks lives in the city of Barnesville on Big Oak Dr. which is off of Red Bud Dr. He was a state senator from this district years back.

Peter Banks would make a fine mayor and would be an asset to the city government of Barnesville. He was a very good senator as I recall.

I hope someone new cleans this town up.

Look at Henry again. Kenny Roberts bailed him out. Last time in the drunken incident with teen age girls Kenny and Gene brought him food at the jail and woke a judge up to get him out post haste.

The normal judge was not available this time so they made special calls to get a judge to release him again.

One wonders what relationship exists between these people that a poor white girl or black teacher can have their live's ruined while dangerous people like this bonded out by public officials.

Birds of a feather flock together.
We need new leadership to stop this stuff.

Watcher.....I have heard the same stuff your talking about and it makes me sick. I cant believe that we have malversation among the leaders in this town with that much gall as to run to the aid of a ignominious comrade. Henry should have been run out of town on a rail.

I'm with ya Watcher and Josey.

The prosecutor can't find solid evidence against any of the good old boys or old families but he can send some girl with a pocket knife up the river for 10 years.

I hope the new mayor takes some power away from Roberts and the rest of the dishonest GOB crooks. Maybe Peter Banks is that man. Jay Mathews sure has been a disappointment for the county.

who is the girl with the knife?

Hooked on med and tried to rod a drug store....I think that's what they are talking about.
Her major problem was that she wasn't buddy buddy with the DA.

Oh please...give me a break....are yall saying so only went to jail because she is a poor white woman? Thats bullshit! That lady deserved to go to jail. No one made her do that, it was by choice. Same goes for the teacher. They charged with what they could at the time. Yeah he is a piece of shit in my book, but face it, the girls were the legal age of consent. The laws need to be changed. The ones whining and bitching should put effort into that instead of getting on here and harping about the same old shit. Hopefully now with the current charges this guy will do some jail time.

I think the problem is people don't like the fact the DA never seems to have good cases against friends and family of the good old boys.

The excuse HA gave in his plea was he was tanked up and didn't know what he was doing wghen he arranged to meet those girls for a drinking session. Despite the fact he rolled up in the middle of the yard the DA said there wasn't enough evidence to support a DUI. I suppose the DA thought Henry's ride levitated to the middle of the front yard.

Now if you or I had control of a car and police saw us pull up and we were drunk, we'd surely get a DUI. I know a person who was sleeping it off in the backseat and he got convicted, as do people who walk away from wrecks.

Then of course Gene Hardwick and Kenny Roberts called a judge in the middle of the night to get HA out of the slammer on the first one. They even stopped to get him a burger. This was all published.

I have to tell you....if a relative or friend of mine arranged to take some minor girls some booze and arrived drunk, I'd let him sit in jail. Especially if he used his public position as a judge to initiate the contact. I'd give him a boot in the dummy instead of a burger for the tummy!

The point here is Kenny went to bat for HA once again.

Public officials just shouldn't pull strings or post bond for people who drive drunk and supply booze to children. If they have that mindset they certainly don't know right from wrong.

Maybe that's why all that county money went over to the city?

One guy might have a drinking problem, but Kenny just doesn't know right from wrong. Neither one of them has common sense.

Witch,
Is this the way you speak to people. Kristyn ask a question and got an answer as to who the lady with the knife was. And it's probably a fact that if she had been close to the DA, she would not have gone to jail.
