These kids were just strange.
Anyone know what they were about?

Looking strange for the sake of being strange and getting together afterwards to discuss how people look at them strange and no one understands them.
The name of this group should have been "Look At Us We Are Strange".

They were representing a new local business dedicated to fantasy and role-playing games. It's innocent fun.

The kids can't win for trying. They're involved in a hobby that doesn't involve drugs or thuggery, they got themselves organized to take part in this local event, they're contributing to the local economy, and still some local yokels want to sit on their high horse and put them down.

I think it has to do with LARP. Live Action Role Playing. I know people who participate in this hobby and they are good people.

That is exactly what it is "LARP" Live Action Role Playing. My son has been doing this for a number of years and it is innocent games that keep them busy and actually works their minds creating skits. It is actually known nationwide. He goes all over the southeast and usually they hold these events in State Parks. And it is usually anywhere from 100 to 500 people.

These people frighten me! Animal sacrifices and other bizarre and scary stuff. They've got all these strange shaped dice that they throw to determine the fate of their victims. Notice that there are no haflings among them. No tolerance at all for the shorter folk.

When they walked by in the parade, me and everyone else around me got cold chills. This is just down right intimidating!

That one's got to be a half-orc fighter. Looks like he's got a little Troll in em too. I always thought that they didn't exist!

I am told that they do secret satanic rituals. They are suppose to do some funky things with goats. Imagine that
