tropical moisture to impact buggy days events?...

heavy rain is falling in barnesville now and more is on the way as remnants of humberto roll inland. rain is forecast for tonight and tomorrow morning here...it should clear in time for the pike-lamar football game tomorrow night and the weekend looks okay.

judging from the current radar image, tonight's almost anything goes event may get wet.

i hope it rains all weekend. most of the crowd at buggydays needs a good shower. mainly the hard core crowd along college dr. at Lamar Tire and Giant Mart.

I think rain will be a good excuse not to go! Better to stay home & watch football.

Lamar Tire is a most unattractive and unpleasant site in town. How are they allowed to keep all that "junk" out front for all to see? Am I the only one who finds this unsightly place repulsively gruesome? Cannot public pressure persuade these folks to clean up their act or build a properly zoned fence around it?

Lamar Tire should work to clean up their property, but they have every right to operate their business and use their property in that manner. They are also pretty good at plugging holes in tires. Gots to give my props to the tire guys.

After the last two comments, I can see why they are allowed to be an eyesore in the community. They do have a right to operate their business within the proper zoning laws of the community.
