with precincts 1,3, 4 and early voting tabulated, the count is yes 657 no 109.
this is precincts at first baptist church, lamar service center and milner and advance and absentee ballots.
there were not enough votes cast in the uncounted precincts - chappell mill, redbone, senior center - to change the outcome.

YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YES!!!!
i knew there were more people here smart enough to do the right thing than hard headed folks who just wont listen to reason.
WAY TO GO LAMAR COUNTY!!!
I am with you, I am so glad that people actually understood what they were voting for. I am proud that we won, I wish voter turn out would have been better, but atleast we won:o)
800 and some odd people, is not quite "EVERYONE" understanding what they were voting for.
GREAT! It's a shame voter turn out was so poor, but I'm very happy that those who do care came out to vote.
NO VOTE...NO COUNT!!!
just means that 9,328 people gave up their right to an opinion one way or another and 161 more can shut the hell up about it now!!!
9:54 am More like, people knew their vote wouldn't count. They would get their funds one way or another. So why bother.
Thats the spirit 1023 we want more people like you running Lamar. If we all thought like you we wouldnt have any vision for the future. WAIT.... The people voted, there is HOPE! Amazing how people cant see past the Football field! Read what we get from our YES vote!
