santonio antwan grady - sans dreads - was in lamar superior court this morning where judge bill fears refused to grant bond.
grady is charged with aggravated assault, reckless conduct, possession of a firearm during commission of a crime, criminal damage to property and possession of weapons on school grounds in connection with a drive-by shooting at gordon commons last month.
gordon police officer lou ann ramsey confirmed today that grady has a prior criminal record.

Why should he be granted bond? If he gets out he will probably try it again and this time someone will get hurt. He does not deserve the penalty but he does and so does the other guys deserve to spend some time in jail.

If the person is right that says it doesn't matter and the person is wrong that says is should be in caps then it's a win/win situation for each one, BUT if the person that beleives it should be in caps is right and the other wrong then it's a win/lose situation for each one. since my earlier comment was deleted (probably rightfully so) i am going to attempt to make my point with different words.
while what i say may be shocking to some and offensive to others it still needs to be said. i will try to be as politicaly correct as possible however, a few feeling are going to be hurt.
we in america have a HUGE problem with african american male youth. these men, young and old are responsible for the majority of crimes commited nation wide but what really gets me is that EVERY DAY on our local news channels we see more and more crimes committed by these people and now its happening in my home town and i am sick of it!
lowering the bar isnt working, govt programs arent working, welfare isnt working so what is the problem? the problem is that we are dealing a seperate race of people who, try as they might, most can not overcome addictions and the need to commit crimes of some sort. i have done a little indenpendent study and have yet to find a sucessful black civilization through out entire history. that really says something there, huh?

I mean you say you do not like "these people" because of the crimes they commit or their music. Yet the line of hate traces farther back then that. But thats neither here nor there. He should be punished for his actions; not because he is black but because his actions could have taken another persons life. I hope that he is punished and I hope that he learns from his mistake. I learned how deep the divide runs in Lamar County. How small minded some people still are. DO you think drugs are just a black problem?
